This place came highly recommended & I was expecting great steak. My medium-rare tenderloin was cooked more medium + than medium rare. I tried it in 3 different places. Then I called over the waiter who immediately took it back to the kitchen. I heard him announce he needed another steak medium-rare. Instead of a new steak, he then came back with the same steak & told me the chef said it was medium-rare, ie I was wrong! A perfect dining experience from the gracious setting, well trained staff to perfectly prepared meals where each part of the dinner was carefully, tastily prepared. An effort is made to have each guest be welcomed, relaxed and unhurried. One of the best meals we have ever had in the United States. P.S. We would be regulars if our Maine home not so far!
