Talay Thai Restaurant Reviews
best thai in the desert
We got it to go, and they forgot to put part of our order in the bag. That is so annoying. The food we had was good but the dog in the restaurant and the lack of paying attention to what we ordered made ot less good.
First time visiting the area and happened to drive by this place. My mom & I decided to check it out and it was awesome!
Mom is pescatarian and I’m vegetarian. We shared the egg rolls, small Tom Kha soup, and mama’s drunken noodles with veggies. Mom also had the crab Rangoon and I had a Thai Tea. Everything was 10/10 delicious and great customer service. Cute ambiance and great prices. I will be returning on my next trip!

Talay Thai Restaurant is a family owned business that serves authentic Thai food. Many consider it the best and most authentic Thai place in the desert, and it is the only Thai restaurant in the valley for some. The food is delicious, with favorites like egg rolls, small Tom Kha soup, mama’s drunken noodles with veggies, crab Rangoon, mango curry with beef, chicken chow mein, eggplant with chicken, Satay, Crispy Wings, Chicken Pad Thai, Pad Kee-Moew (Drunken Noodles), shrimp fried rice, and Thai Tea. Guests note that Thai food is spicy, so order 1 spice level if you can’t handle spice. The mango curry is the spiciest but tastes amazing. Service is good and staff are friendly, welcoming, kind, and understanding, even remaking a dish without hesitation. The restaurant is clean, welcoming, and has a cute ambiance and great vibe. Prices are great for some, though one guest found shrimp fried rice at $25 extremely high and the fried rice mediocre. Another guest had part of an order missing and noted a dog in the restaurant.
