This is a great little sushi restaurant tucked away in Palm Desert. There’s plenty of parking and the service was excellent. The atmosphere in the restaurant is great, and the hostess seems to know everybody there, full of locals. The selection of food was fantastic and we really enjoyed being there. We would highly recommend going there if you’re in the mood for sushi.
This is the real deal - the only top notch sushi in the Palm Springs area. It's popular with locals and the way I noticed it was driving by at 5:00 there was a line of older people waiting to get in right when they opened the doors. Good sign.Service was a bit dictatorial probably because it was so busy and they had to keep things moving but the host (maybe wife and owner) was nice even though she was firm. Okay this place was incredible. It was super unassuming by its looks but ended up being one of our favorite meals of our trip! We started with the enoki (very umami, savory but sour flavor so good), the chicken teriyaki (very good), the tuna nigiri(melt in your mouth), the signature tuna took (also melt in your mouth incredible) and the star of the show the black snapper nigiri.
