“Had the most amazing experience at Maleza. The food 10/10 and the service even better. The host, Daniella, was so kind and made our time at Maleza worth while (she’s a great photographer if you want some group photos). My friend is vegan and they accommodated to make tacos for her that weren’t even on the menu. If you are in downtown Palm Springs, or just visiting, this place is a must try!“

“I apologize but I have been going to get food at this location ever since they opened. I should have given a review from the start, but I wanted to wait until I truly experienced all of what they have to offer. All I have to say is, AMAZING. Nor did he offer dessert. The gentleman refilling my water, salsa, and chips was awesome though. “Wow wow wow! Stumbled on this taco joint a couple of nights ago on Door Dash late night. And much to our surprise it was only a few minutes down the road so we jumped in the car and made our way to this unassuming taco truck. The gal was so sweet and helpful with making choices and recommendations for me. Walked away with 7 tacos to share, and they were all so bomb that I came back to order more the next night.Will make this stop every time I visit Palm Springs. And make sure you try all the sauces/salsas. They are all delicious. Particularly the second hottest red salsa and the creamy green cilantro.We ordered the kimchi, wasabi, grilled shrimp and chimichurri tacos. Plus some asada and pastor street tacos. All would recommend! Thank you for being so awesome and nice!

“We’re the folks behind Dining with the Davids, and part of what we do is bring a group of friends (our “Taste Buds”) to restaurants to try a wide range of the menu and see what really stands out.

We did exactly that here and ordered across the board — tacos, birria, burritos, the works. The fish tacos were crispy and well-balanced, the birria was rich and comforting (both the tacos and the noodle bowl were solid), and the burritos were filling and flavorful, especially the carne asada, al pastor, and California burrito.

What stood out most was how consistent everything was, especially for the price. This place isn’t trying to be fancy — it’s just good, satisfying food done right. It’s one of those places you might drive past without thinking twice, but it’s absolutely worth stopping in.

We left full, happy, and already talking about what we’d order next time. Tell them “The David’s” sent you.“

“I recently discovered this restaurant chain. I have to say, every time I come here, it's always for the same thing; Asada Quesadilla. I'm a quesadilla freak, and their carne asada quesadilla is a 9/10 for me. Their menu is very large, but Im only here for the quesadilla. Occasionally I also order a large horchata. I've never had a bad experience here.“

“Stopped by randomly. Went thru the drive thru. I'm not the biggest fan of Mexican food, growing up in New England my diet was quite bland with no tolerance for hot spices. When trying to order the lady at the window said pull up. Just pull up. She was great. It's like a family run kitchen. She had suggestions and was very helpful. I got a Asada Carnitas Burrito with beef. If that wasn't the most delicious dinner I have had in a long time! We also got a Tostada Salad which was equally as good. We went back the next night and the night after that before we left for L.A. (they are in Palm Springs) I wish they were local cuz they were the best! The beef was juicy and the sauce was so good. We also got the Taquitos that we ate on the way back to our Air BNB. Love this place!“

“The food was fine. The service was very slow. I waited almost ten minutes after I ordered and there was only 1 person ahead of me in the dining room. I ordered my food to go. There were no napkins in the bag and none available in the dining room. There were no employees near the counter to ask for napkins once I realized I had none.“
