“This beautiful restaurant was nothing but amazing in every way! We ordered the calamari as an appetizer, absolutely delicious. The spicy marinara sauce was such a great match. We shared a Caesar salad and the dressing was one of the best I've had. Our waiter was so friendly and helpful. I asked for a recommendation and it did not disappoint! We also ordered the homemade lasagna.....excellent. We will definitely return! Thank you for a great dining experience.“
“If you're looking for European-centric comfort food in a fine dining setting in Palm Springs, Miro's has got you covered. My wife and I met up with my dad in Palm Springs while we were on vacation, and he left it up to me to choose the restaurant. My dad is from Poland, and doesn't like spicy food, so I zeroed in on Miro's, based on Yelp reviews. I was not disappointed. From the moment you are greeted at the entrance, this place delivers great service. Our server, Hugo, was impeccable. My dad can be difficult to please, and Hugo handled him masterfully. I had originally reserved a table on the patio, then switched to indoors the day before, because I was worried it would be too hot outside. I regretted doing this once we got there, because even though it was a bit warm out at 6:00pm the patio is fully shaded, and it would have felt fine to sit out there. I had the beef stroganoff with egg noodles, and the beef was perfectly tender in a delicious creamy mushroom sauce. My wife had the traditional combo platter, which was a lot of food, definitely value for your money. The combo came with goulash, cabbage rolls, and chicken paprikash. All were very good, and wifey was still eating the leftovers two days later. Pops ordered the schnitzel, which I tried and I thought was excellent, very fluffy breading and perfectly seasoned and cooked pork cutlet. The Old Man wasn't happy with the choice of sides: you get a choice of cabbage salad or lentil soup, and he wasn't in the mood for either choice. In the end he went with the salad (which was really good!), but maybe they could have some green salad available for those patrons that don't dig cabbage salad? Funny thing, my dad has been coming to PS for 40 years and he'd never heard of this place (you're welcome, dad). Bottom line: great food in a beautiful setting with great service makes Miro's a place to remember.“
“My husband, sister-in-law and I had dinner here once while visiting Palm Springs. My husband and I started with tasty minestrone soup, and my sister-in-law had salad. I had excellent penne sausage. My companions had eggplant parmigiana. They commented that there was little breading on the eggplant. All was delicious. I had a virgin strawberry daiquiri. My husband had a lemon drop martini with vodka and lemon; and my sister-in-law red wine. We split one tiramisu and one cannoli. The food tastes level 5 exquisite; I would even rate it 6 out of 5. Some mistakes were made in service: we never got the spinach we ordered, and additional requested bread. If we return to Palm Springs we may come back to this restaurant.“
“"Ruben's Special" was delicious. Plenty of seafood in the dish and a flavorful broth too.The raw oysters were fresh, tasty, and cleanly presented BUT I did not appreciate having to finish shucking my own oysters with a butter knife. Suggestion: coach the kitchen staff to properly release the aductor muscle from BOTH shells.Atmosphere is pleasant but noisy....in a good way.“
“Our family ate at Mickeys for lunch. The food was excellent and a very good value. We had the chorizo burrito, chicken burrito, chicken and beef tacos and quesadilla. All of the items had such good flavor and texture to the food. The way they cook the burritos on a grill and brown the sides gives the flour tortilla and really good flavor and texture. We will miss getting to eat there again since we were just visiting. Mickey after she cooked our meal came out and thanked us for our business before we were done and that was nice and appreciated.“
“a very nice restaurant just a half a block off the main drag in Palm Springs the food was excellent and the service was great. we were there before it got really crowded so I wouldn't be able to tell you about how fast the service is in the middle of the busy hour.“
“Visiting Palm Springs for our wedding Anniversary/ Babymoon and decided to have a nice steakhouse dinner. Given it's a Monday night, we called and got a reservation within the hour. Nester was our server and he was fantastic! He had great recommendations, he made us laugh and he was very attentive along with his dinner assistant. We had the special of the night which was a NY Strip and then we also ordered the king crab legs. Both were amazing and we were so happy with our selection. To top it off, Nester ended our night with a complimentary dessert!“
“Thanks for offering so many vegan plant based options on your menu. We got drunken noodles, yellow curry and fresh spring rolls. All were excellent fresh and good size portions. Did take out and food was ready on time. Restaurant looked busy as well.“
“I wasn’t sure what to expect with Peruvian food, but I was not disappointed. We felt bad for the people eating Mexican food next door because we knew they were missing out. Definitely consider coming here if you want a unique experience. The steak was mouth watering, the chicken fried rice was full of flavor, and the sea bass was so tasty. And don’t miss out on the unique Peruvian drinks as well. Very special place here!“
“Stopped in here with a small group on a Friday night, so I expected it to be busy. It was. However! The server, bartender and other staff were all incredibly friendly and nice, helpful, etc. We essentially came here to try the World Famous Fish Tacos and man o man, they did NOT disappoint. I had the cod, my fiancee had the shrimp and her brother had the Ahi. Everyone enjoyed each of the tacos. We live in Seattle, so authentic Mexican food that is actually good, is pretty rare. Especially fish tacos. These were off the charts. Seriously, we heard about this place on one of the food network shows, not sure which. Either way, it was a great suggestion. If I lived in PS, I'd be there every week.Only one less point because we were unsure where to go or sit when we arrived and it was loud/confusing due to live music. Not at all complaining about that, just was confusing and took a few moments to figure everything out. After that, everything was amazing. Would definitely return if/when I go back to PS.“
“Taka Shin restaurant exceeded all expectations! The sushi was a masterpiece of flavors and textures. From the melt-in-your-mouth sashimi to the expertly crafted rolls, every bite was a culinary delight. A definite must-visit for sushi lovers!“
“First time in Palm Springs, and glad I went to this place for lunch. The place was clean. We were a group of 7, and they were really fast on getting us a table, bringing our appetizers, and food. There was no issue. Everything I had was really tasty. From the guacamole dip (must try) to the lobster enchiladas. Great place to go if you’re in downtown Palm Springs.“
“Always a delight, been going here for years, and the food is always delicious, authentic, and served hot and fairly quickly. They recently acquired the space next to them, so there's plenty of room now, and the remodeling is very modern looking - great job!“
“Love Pomme Frite. We always go several times during our time here in the desert. Our annual lunch on our first day is one of our favorite traditions. This year did not disappoint. We had steak tartare, salad Lyonnaise and Croque Monsieur. Paired with a bottle of crisp white wine it was the perfect start to vacation. we always come back for dinner several times. Their pate, the French onion soup, the mussels and fish dishes are always top-notch. They often have daily specials which are worth investigating. Our favorite waiters are Mark or Willie, but all servers are excellent. Whenever our favorite stops in Palm Springs when we are here.“
“Excellent sea food restaurant with fast ordering and a variety of options of preparation and food combination. Convenient seating arrangements indoor and in patio. Very good clam chowder. Located on the quieter side of the split downtown main avenues and easy parking.“
“Went there for diner on an early Monday evening. Our little group of four had the octopus appetizer, followed by four different plates and some deserts. Excellent services, staff is top notch, good wine recommendations to match the plates. Our top favourite was the lasagna; it takes some audacity to propose such a familiar meal that almost every home cook a version. And it doesn't disapoint. The whole group were very impressed. Second place was the chicken a la parmegliana with mashed potatoes. The wine sauce and the colors of the plate were excellent. Third place was the Papardelle Norcina; fresh pasta with mushroom sauce and italian saucage; excellent balance of the spicyness of the sausage vs the softness of the mushrooms; I personally wished that the plate had more colors dynamics at the levels of the satisfactions in mouth. Final plate was the Romana pizza that was also excellent; very tasty with a crispy crust. Deserts were pretty spot on too; our top pick was the Cannolo, zesty orange and very crispy shell. Awesome. Tiramusu was also above our expectations and the vanilla gelato with an espresso shot was also very good. On a constructive axis, we wished that the octopus was less chewy and more tender; might be false expectations I had. All in all, on a very positive note, the experience was awesome with a tendency to repeat the experience. Expect about a 80 dollars per person including wines and deserts.“
“I always grab the classic Shrimp Burrito. It's filled with shrimp, never leaving you to wonder where all the meat is. It tastes good as is, but I always go overboard with their self serve salsa on the side. You can go ham with cilantro and lime. The entree gives you chips on the side. BUT if you take the survey that's part of your receipt you can either choose a free drink or ANY dessert. Which is insane by the way. I LOVE their blondie toffee brownies. You need their chipotle salsa in your life, that flavor is one of the reasons I come back when I'm in the mood for Mexican food. Even when their dining room is filled, it's still enjoyable to eat inside. Pretty well maintained with everything in the store. Now about the employees their newest team manager, Jason, is a much needed addition. He was extremely sweet, friendly, patient and an all star team player. He talked to customers both during the transactions and to check up on them during their meal. So uncalled for in terms of service, I was blown away. He was so personable, he even got to cleaning tables and checking on stirring the pumped juice drinks as the pulp was settling. Sebastian who seemed to be a cook, was also very nice. When Jason had a question with redeeming our survey code, he helped in. He didn't give off the normal food service vibe of "what now" he was actually very helpful and friendly as well. All in all you have a great team now!“
“First of all, a HUGE thank you to our host. He was incredible. They were so busy, I never had a chance to ask his name, but he was a legend. We had 12 people on a Thursday night, no reservation, and he got us in right away with 3 tables of 4 right by each other. Our waiter wasn't that attentive, He was busy, but we could tell he just wasn't into working that night.Food was very good. By the looks of it, the pizza is the best bang for your buck.We were pretty high maintenance because we were at a conference and we all needed separate checks and I get that that can be a pain, but when you so close to a convention center, that's what's going to happen.Everyone was happy with their meals and we left very satisfied. They have food that is high and really expensive to midrange less expensive with a variety of styles of food. I would recommend coming here.“
“Great food selection and quality was great. Prices very reasonable especially for Main Street Palm Springs. The service was excellent-thanks to Danny! He is courteous, friendly, made great menu recommendations and very attentive!4 happy Canadians!“
“Hi folks, looking for excellent seafood in Palm Springs? Look no further. My wife and I dined here for the first time last night and it was amazing. I've had seafood from Seattle to San Diego, Provincetown to Key West and here I was In the desert of all places and relished the most delicately prepared shellfish, it was superb. I don't go hunting for the chef often but I had to find him and tell him he is crushing it! His name is Nick. The ambience is very nice too. The server was attentive and cheerful. Be sure to try one of their delicious martinis I had one called Boston cream pie. Wow. I will most definitely be back! Highly recommended“
“Food was meh, acceptable but nothing great... but the price was alright so I'll give it a pass; you're not here for food anyway. Love the view though. We came here on a rainy/snowy day, so we were able to watch the clouds come and go, snow rainbow rain sun... we saw all of them. We enjoyed the experience. Our waiter was also extremely nice and attentive. Food: 3 stars Service: 5 stars View: 5 stars“
“I had the Blackened Mahi Mahi Taco and my wife had the Roasted Vegetable Bowl with Shrimp. Both meals were excellent, as was the service from our server Scott. We’ve been to this restaurant many time and every time have been very happy with the food, the service and the vibe. Great people watching too! We highly recommend this restaurant.“
