“Went to Palm Springs for dinner and came across The Front Porch with good reviews on google maps and we know why it’s so highly rated after trying. The atmosphere, food and staff service were amazing! We were served by Justin who is extremely friendly and makes us feel very welcomed. His recommendations were all on point and we have to recommend them as well. The baked Brie, beef carpaccio, shrimp ceviche and tuna Ahi lettuce wraps coupled with their amazing cocktails. The prices in this restaurant are also extremely affordable given the quality ingredients that they served. Will totally recommend this place if you’re in Palm Springs and you will definitely not forget“
“Finally nabbed a reservation just to find out what all the hype was about. Well it’s for real! Bar Cecil delivered! Ollie (sp?) was our server and she was great! We tried the caviar - which comes with a vodka shot - and it was delicious. Went on to classic Steak/frites. The steak was delicious and prepared exactly to our different specifications. The fries were great, just the right amount of seasoning. We had their raspberry and merengue dessert. Nice selection of wine as well. The atmosphere was convivial and all the wait staff was friendly. Thank you Bar Cecil and Ollie for a great night and satisfying meal.“
“Nice place. Cool scene. Food Good. Pizza not so much. I forget our waiters name but he was a large man with glasses. He said they had good NY Pizza but...the pizza has zero sauce and you dough had no flavor so you were basically eating a quesadilla. My suggestion to the restaurant is they seem to take great pride in the rest of the menu and the drinks so why not do the basics on pizza. Soughdough as a starter. A basic sauce of San Marizano Tomatoes, OVO, salt, and Basil. I mean soughdough is a California thing. Either take pride in Pizza or take it off the menu IMHO.“
“I had the Blackened Mahi Mahi Taco and my wife had the Roasted Vegetable Bowl with Shrimp. Both meals were excellent, as was the service from our server Scott. We’ve been to this restaurant many time and every time have been very happy with the food, the service and the vibe. Great people watching too! We highly recommend this restaurant.“
“We went to the Purple Room for the first time last night. Great experience! It's a bit hidden and in a weird location but once through the doors, really nice. Entertainment was fun! Great service all night long. The food was average- nothing to get super excited about but also nothing wrong with it...“
“The food here is simply the best diner fare you can find. Always a long wait for a table, because it's sooooo worth it!Kid-friendliness: Our grandson really enjoyed his meal, and the kids activity book lasted a while keeping him occupied.“
“One of Palm Springs best! We celebrated a birthday here recently. Thank you Shannon, Chad, Eric and all the staff. Love the patio and of course inside and the bar.We had : Ahi tuna tacos with salmon roe. Prime beef filet. Short ribs with lobster mash potatoes. Date cake and pineapple upside down cake. Port wine. Bottle of Vineyard 29 Cabernet Sauvignon. Aviation Gin martini. Manhattan cocktail. All items for the two of us. Thank you“
“This is a really cute dinner place. Good cocktails. They bring out individual pieces of warm fresh bread which is delicious instead of a bread basket. Luckily they offered us a second slice. Carne asada was flavorful but the dish could have used another side. The service is excellent. I recommend making a reservation as this restaurant is quite popular. They have large outdoor seating area too.“
“PaulBar is our go to restaurant when we arrive from LA and when we leave to LA! Paul is an amazing host, the food is delicious and the drinks are on point! The restaurant has an east coast pub vibe and the service is excellent. It's definitely our top pick dinner restaurant in the desert area!“
“We celebrated a 80th birthday party there last night. The food and service was excellent. Delfina, our waitress was one of the very best that we had ever encountered. She paid attention to every detail, making our evening all that more enjoyable.“
“Absolutely perfect for date night!!! A beautiful, artsy space and the 5 course tasting menu really blew us away! Best mocktails in Palm Springs, good bourbon selection, and top notch service. We had oyster n herb soup, bone marrow, lobster raviolis, lamb, and chocolate mousse- all excellent! I highly recommend reservations for any special occasion, their outdoor seating was so romantic!Parking: Limited spots in front, gotta go around back!“
“Absolutely smitten with this place. Casual comfortable atmosphere, staff was knowledgeable and helpful. Food was PERFECT so fresh and full of flavor I'm still thinking about it. Can't recommend enough can't wait to come again! Thanks John's and crew :)Vegetarian options: Spinach and feta omelette“
“Billy Reed's restaurant is a unique and wonderful find in Palm Springs. The food was amazing. We stopped for appetizers and the had the hot wings, potato skins and chicken quesadillas; all delicious. Very reasonable prices. Our server, Thomas, was great, very attentive.“
“Great food great drinks and best of all bring your dog and order a from the special dog menu too. Beautiful mid century decor. Pets are restricted to out door patio and fully covered extension. Highly recommended with or without your dog check the website first.“
“Get here early! We arrived at 5:05 and got one of the last available tables. It is SO good and lives up to the hype. The chicken dumplings had a nice spicy flavor without being overpowering and the chicken stuffed curry ball was a fun twist on Japanese classic curry.“
“Visiting Palm Springs for our wedding Anniversary/ Babymoon and decided to have a nice steakhouse dinner. Given it's a Monday night, we called and got a reservation within the hour. Nester was our server and he was fantastic! He had great recommendations, he made us laugh and he was very attentive along with his dinner assistant. We had the special of the night which was a NY Strip and then we also ordered the king crab legs. Both were amazing and we were so happy with our selection. To top it off, Nester ended our night with a complimentary dessert!“
“Today we went to “Thirsty Palms”. We chose this restaurant because of its varied menu and reasonable prices. We don't regret our choice. The burgers and fries were very good. Spaghetti with shrimp was generously seasoned with garlic and tasted really delicious. The Margherita pizza was huge and my child really enjoyed it. The service was nice and accommodating. A successful end to the day!“
“This was our first time at Jake's. I was hesitant about going because I didn't want to spend that much money on an entree but the food was so delicious it was worth the price. I had the Seabass & my husband had the meatloaf. We shared the Miami vice salad as a starter and the carrot cake for dessert. Didn't have any drinks so can't comment there. The Seabass was cooked to perfection and melted in my mouth. Perfect portion. My husband loved the meatloaf. The picture doesn't do it any justice. They brought complimentary bread rolls (one each). The slice of cake is large & definitely for sharing & worth trying. It's a small restaurant with most of the seating on the side patio. Our reservation was at 5:30 in April & some of the tables still had partial sun. Our server Alexia was very attentive. I would love to go back. We brought our dog & they gave him water & treats.“
“What a fantastic track! The course was in great shape and place of play was on par at 4 hours. We loved the lay out of this golf course and we found the greens to be forgiving and pleasant to play.Unfortunately the service on the patio was not good. After I manage to wave a server down, he indicated he would be right back… and he never did come back! I ended up going inside and ordered our drinks directly from the bartended - who was very good.Great golf and I highly recommend this course.“
“Haven’t had the food but was in town and picked this place to try a date shake for the first time. It was unexpected to me that there was banana in the shake, it was way too overpowering and was a waste of $11 for me. I wish it was more clear on the menu there was banana in it but maybe it was a newbie mistake.“
“My husband and I had the pleasure of dining at Zin on a recent visit to Palm Springs. The food was amazing! My husband had the rack of lamb which was cooked to perfection served with potato croquettes.i had the braised short ribs served over mashed potato’s and green beans. Both meals were fantastic. We were pleased to meet the co-owners of Zin, Jason and Mindy during our visit! Great wine list and a choice of non alcoholic beers.“
“Fun spot for brunch! I tried the Blondie's Eggs Benedict. As a huge eggs benny fan, I found the scone to be a bit overpowering and too heavy. I think I'd prefer a classic English muffin instead. The cinnamon roll was more like a cinnamon croissant - think less ooey gooey. We sat outside which was lovely! The place was very busy so service was fine but nothing extraordinary.“
“Such a wonderful restaurant. The crew was fantastic, such a professional wait staff. The meal was excellent. No outside dining but plenty of room inside. We were there for a Tuesday lunch and the place was full. The bakery is awesome. The menu is extensive with plenty of choices. The parking lot is very ample with easy in and out. Actually, I cannot wait to dine there again.“
“The perfect place for a pre-coachella breakfast! This place was originally my choice for convenience but I'm so glad I stopped and I'll probably be back again tomorrow. Besides great food and cocktails, my service was AMAZING. Ruben was so kind and friendly, which is a huge plus for a solo diner. He even gave great recommendations and made sure I knew more about the area. Thanks Ruben for making my first coachella morning great.“
“Our favorite restaurant in Palm Springs! Great selections on menu and food was amazing! Service is impeccable! Loved it so much we came back to try their breakfast on the first day the offered it at this location. Amazing service again even on their first day!“
“Day Drinking Delight ?•We stopped here on a trek to have a cocktail at many places. Overall did not disappoint! Menu was large and included foods, view from the roof top patio was beautiful and the drinks were pretty good as well. LA Water is the green one; very Long Island-esque. The mule was the other choice we had and it was a mule! Hard to go wrong and never disappoints. When we come back and have more time, this will be on the list of repeats so we can enjoy that California open air vibe!“
“I was expecting to be underwhelmed by workshop kitchen given my last experience there and its reputation over the last 10 yrs of style over substance at high price points. But when in PS there aren’t a lot of options for fine dining so I gave it another try…and enjoyed the food. Workshop feels less glamorous and more “accessible” (baseball hats, kids, tank tops, etc) than in years past but we enjoyed our meal - the gnocchi and pork chop in particular. The service was friendly and bustling.“
“We've eaten at Bongo Johnny's on each of our 3 visits to Palm Springs. The food is consistently very good! The staff is amazingly polite and accommodating. And the outside patio is delightful!!Kid-friendliness: Perfectly fine for families and childrenWheelchair accessibility: Even though it is on the second floor, there is an elevator in the rear.“
“Had dinner here for when in town for a bachelorette and we were AMAZED. Every single person went out of their way to constantly make our experience as magical and memorable as possible. We arrived and the gentleman we checked in with who I’m assuming is the manager immediately offers to take our photo in front of the pool because it was “perfect lighting”. He took multiple incredible photos. Then we go upstairs to our table that is so cute and are greeted by our waiter. He provided incredible recommendations and also gave us recommendations and safety tips for going out afterwards. The fresh blood orange and watermelon margaritas were the most delicious I have ever had. All the food was incredible! The wait staff actually thanked us while keeping the table clean throughout the meal. We mentioned we getting cold in passing to each other and a gentleman immediately pulled over a heater and turned it on for us. I cannot say enough how incredible each person we interacted with was. I would highly recommend anyone dine here whenever you can. Truly a magical evening and as a group of girls we greatly appreciated the safety tips.“
“Best restaurant ever. Our family has been coming here for 20+ years. Owners Luis and Alfredo are so sweet. The staff are so friendly and accommodating , especially Julie. The food is amazing. My favorite is the macadamia crusted sole but all are delicious. The desserts are homemade and out of this world! But please don't tell anyone else about this place we want to keep it the best kept secret in the desert!“
“Lovely restaurant with fantastic service. Try the tomato salad. I had the stuffed rainbow trout. My husband had the sea bass. I usually do not order fish because I'm so fussy about it, but the waiter raved when he recommended that dish, and he was right - delicious! Refreshing cocktails, nice wine list. Beautiful, intimate setting. Polite, professional, attentive staff. We had a perfect evening!“
“Wife and I visited this restaurant over 15 years ago. We didn't remember being here, since that was the last time we were in Palm Springs. As soon as I walked in, I remembered it. Lobby has dessert cases full of decadent treats. When we got our sandwiches, we remembered the entire experience. Deli sandwiches are HUGE and delicious. The Corned Beef, Pastrami on Onion Roll is ... is ... (no words). Beyond amazing. This is without a doubt, absolutely, a must visit in the Coachella Valley, CA.“
“Ambiance is great. Love the decor. I was disappointed this time though. Service was slow and then at the end it seemed we were being rushed out. My stuff poblano was delicious but the yuca fries were rock hard and the pollo blanco was exceptionally dry. Disappointing given I had a great experience last year.“
“My server was Precious and she did a great job. She made my dad (who suffers from Dementia) and myself very comfortable. Food was good and coffee was good. If I'm in the area, I'll be coming back because of the food and coffee but especially the “
“This bar is outside the Hyatt Palm Springs. Had lunch there. I had the ceasar salad and the fish tacos and they were delicious. The tacos were flavorful and the ceasar had tons of parmesan and the dressing was homemade. Good atmosphere and right in the center of everything in Palm Springs. Service and staff were very nice too.“
“I'll be honest - I screwed up and placed our res for 4 instead of 5, on Easter Sunday, and didn't recognize the mistake til the day of. I call as soon as they open - mind you, they're starting to get Easter brunch guests right at open - and I hope for the best. They reshuffled tables to accommodate. We ate and drank so well that night...the beef wellington, the chicken pot pie, the jabori chicken, shrimp cocktail, escargot, sooo many sides (mashed potatoes, broccoli and cheese, carrots, mac n cheese), everything was amazing! Service was on point, and the ambiance was everything I'd hoped it would be. Definitely will be back!“
“Much appreciation for the help having my special event in there banquet room I had about 35 guests and it was a great space great bartender that was very attentive and great drinks it was the perfect venue for what I needed many thanks highly recommend“
“Breakfast was tasty, reasonably prices. French toast was delicious. I love me some French toast Cute little old style diner, not much of a breakfast person but it definitely gave that breakfast vibe.... The service was awesome!! It was open seating but we were greeted with a warm smile, everyone was attentive & friendly. I chose something light cause we had to kill time before our 4 hour hike but our meals was very filling & good to hold us by till dinner. My friend was pleased with his meal & I had no complaints.“
“We visited Wilma & Frieda's the first morning we were in Palm Springs. They did such a great job, we decided to try to eat our way through the menu and returned every morning of our stay. I make my own homemade biscuits and am usually disappointed by biscuits in a restaurant, but theirs are outstanding! They are served with house made jam that really tops them off. Over the four days, we had the meat loaf and eggs, two different scrambles, JR's short rim and mozzarella scramble and a couple of other dishes that don't come to mind right now. They have outdoor seating or you can choose a nice intimate booth inside. Service was just great, as good as being in a fine dining restaurant. They're currently open for only breakfast and lunch, but anything on the menu is delicious!“
“We went to the Palm Springs Air Museum and decided to eat lunch there since it was so convenient. It was really cool, the table was under the wing of a plane which was something we had not done before. Our lunch was good and the service was very nice. We had the Rueben sandwich and it was really tasty!“
“Had an avocado toast and French toast. The avocado toast was good, but the greens weren’t fresh and were missing dressing. The berry french toast was delicious. We arrived at about 11am and although there wasn’t a wait time, we waited at least 45 mins for our food.“
