“The Pit Stop at Morongo was decent overall. I’d put the food roughly on par with Denny’s, maybe a little better.

I ordered the Double Smashburger. It was definitely palatable, but the meat itself wasn’t particularly flavorful and didn’t really stand out. The highlights were actually the other items I tried. The bacon potato soup of the day was surprisingly tasty and probably the second-best thing I had. The clear winner was the chocolate chip cookie with ice cream. It came out warm, gooey, and delicious—easily the best thing I ate that day.

Customer service was friendly, although service was somewhat slow and a few things were forgotten. In their defense, they were extremely busy, so I can understand why.

One thing I really like about Morongo is the variety of restaurants available. There are so many other places there that I want to try that I’ll probably work my way through those before coming back to the Pit Stop. That said, I did see a couple of items on the menu that I’d like to come back and try eventually.

Overall, the Pit Stop is perfectly fine for a casual meal, especially if you’re already at Morongo, but I wouldn’t specifically make a trip there just for the food. Definitely save room for the chocolate chip cookie and ice cream.“

“We had another great experience at Good Times Restaurant inside Morongo Casino. This was actually our second time dining here, and once again, the service was excellent. The staff (Trish) was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had a pleasant dining experience.

The portions are also generous and definitely good enough for two people to share, which is always a plus.

The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is the prime rib. Unfortunately, I found it a little bland and felt it could use more seasoning and flavor. That said, everything else was enjoyable, and we still had a good overall experience.

Since this was our second visit, I’d say that speaks for itself. We’d still come back and try other dishes! 😊“

“Clean and welcoming. The Morongo staff are polite and always are willing to be of assistance or answer any questions.

Our hotel stay was nice and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Love the pool view!

Speaking of the pools, they are very clean and we enjoyed the lazy river. The whole resort area had a tropical feel, which we enjoyed.

“On the road to Palm Springs and found Gramma’s for a late breakfast. Cute place walking I. Takes you back in time. Food was tasty but make sure if you order the banana nut bread (too sweet for us) that you order it warm. Friendly service but slow. Slower than molasses in January. Slower than gramma at 95. Unless you’re in a hurry, this is a good place to get a bite. We’re adding it to our road trip list of good places to eat.“

“The food was great. I got the beef dip with zucchini and fried mushrooms. Everything was delicious. It was busy so the service was slow. We didn't really see our waitress except when she took the order and when she brought the food. I would definitely recommend them.“

“Sizzler for Banning is the place where everybody goes families friends. If you want to go out for a nice meal, sit down. Enjoy a wonderful salad bar that I know people that have driven all the way in from the desert to enjoy scissors the place to go. It's great for any age group. “OMG we came to eat here we got the jr hamburger meal and fried zucchini they were amazingly good we are from out of state and we ended up eating there every day for 5 days the largest menu and largest variety of food I’ve ever seen in a fast food. We’ve ordered something different every day and it was just amazingly good. Their burgers are super good. They give you plenty of food. They’re avocado, bacon cheeseburger really good. Their zucchini was just out of this world. I would give this a far more than five stars if I could, and I really suggest you try this place whenever you’re near it, you won’t be disappointed. They have Mexican food, breakfast food hamburgers, seafood Greek food salads, you name it. There’s something for everyone in the family.“
