“Frisky Business’s byline—“Where Cats, Community, and Kindness Come Together”—truly encapsulates not only its business philosophy; but also what it is like to visit here. Whether it’s for a refreshing coffee drink and tasty pastry; spending some time playing with in-house cats (for a reasonable fee); or attending one of the special events, it’s always a fun and enjoyable experience. On top of that (and reflecting the values of “Mr and Mrs Frisky”), there is a “pay it forward” board where one can purchase a drink or cat visit for someone who might need some support; and a pantry box where cat food donations can be dropped off for those who can use it or who feed community cats. “As a brand new Palm Springs resident; it took me passing by a few times before I noticed this groovy little store/cafe tucked into a strip center near Ralphs Suoermarket. I am so glad i didn’t pass them by today, but instead stopped for healthy and filling lunch. The Veggie burger and side of potatoes were well seasoned, with a great flavor and quite filling. The staff was friendly and the store seemed to have a great mix of natural and healthy products. A great find. I’ll be back!“

May be the portions are smaller than expected but good quality. My wish is thay they have more of fresh bread that have good fresh crust. Highly recommended.“

We recently had a goodbye dinner at Al Dente Trattoria for a couple from our snowbird park. There were nine of us, and overall the food was good. Everyone ordered full meals, and the service was acceptable, especially considering the restaurant was relatively empty.

Before dining, we had all requested separate checks. What we did not realize was that the restaurant automatically added a 20% gratuity for parties over six people. Three people in our group noticed this and did not add an additional tip. Unfortunately, three of us did not catch it and ended up tipping more than 20% on top of the already-added 20%.

The next morning, after realizing what had happened, I called the restaurant right away. I explained the situation politely and asked if they could remove the extra tip from my bill, as I had also left cash. I was only speaking for myself, not the rest of the group. The woman I spoke with was very pleasant and told me she would look into it and get back to me.

Unfortunately, I never heard back, and the charge went through unchanged. As a result, our waitress received approximately a 40% tip on three fairly large bills.

I fully understand that I should have noticed the automatic gratuity myself, and I take responsibility for that. However, once the restaurant was made aware that several guests had clearly made the same mistake, I had hoped they would show some goodwill and help resolve it. Since nothing was done and no follow-up was provided, I am rating this restaurant one star based on the way the situation was handled from an ethical and customer service standpoint.“

The crunchy chicken wrap is okay it’s basically bagged salad with well done chicken tenders cut into chunks it’s tasty I give it a 8.5/10 chicken Caesar was great too. Beautiful presentation. Taste was good 9/10. Fries were nice and crispy. Now the service. The girl taking orders really needs to work on her tone and attitude. That’s the only reason I did not give a 5 stars.“

“So disappointed in the new steak salad, it was just unappetizing to look at! The steak was kind of a soft pinkish color. It didn't look like meat; it looked like some kind of a ground substance even though it was a proper meat, I guess. The lettuce was limp. It would have been so much better and crisper if there was some romaine in there. The soft greens or whatever they were just didn't hold up to the steak.“
