“My friends and I visited Merkaba while on vacation a couple of weekends ago and it the most wonderful shop. Sooooo many teas, it was overwhelming but the owner spent so much time with us talking about the teas and what we were looking for and we all walked away with some really fantastic blends. The tea accessory selection is extensive and we got the cutest mugs. Can't wait to return!“

What a wonderful selection of homemade pastries for morning coffee: we had a buttermilk donut - melt in the mouth, buttermilk tang, a little greasy; an incredible moist scone filled with fruit; and a soft raised glazed (not too sweet); plus they offered suggestions for our visit in town. “Stumbled accross this place while exploring Idyllwild and my boyfriend and I really enjoyed it! Located in the small town, not far away from anything at all, this place really satisfied! Seating isn't the best. There's a bench, some walls and some tables but us with our big partt, struggled to find seating. But that didn't stop us from enjoying all our treats on the nice day! We just went to the central area across the street and sat on the benches there. We got ice cream, churros and beef jerkey. The Ice Cream was really good. There was something about it that just seemed homey. The churros were definitely fresh. They were nice and warm and you could see the steam. The beef jerkey was super flavorful. If you're ever in Idyllwild, definitely give this place a try. They have lots of variety and the service is great!“
