What's not to like? Amazing mountain scenery, fresh air, and amazing treats! Can be a little crowded at times but that's to be expected in a small place like Idyllwild. Ice cream is always creamy and firm enough to hold a scoop, not too frozen it's impossible to eat and not too soft. Just good, solid ice cream. Not so good first, short n sweet. Jerky selection is somewhat limited when we went - stocks were low, but probably blame covid. Peppered garlic that we bought was pretty good though.Now with the good\great. Super friendly staff. Answer any questions, will give advice based on tastes and all around friendly. My wife and I HAVE to stop for ice cream every time we come through, and of course to by a couple bags of jerky. Lana and Terry, the owners, are always so nice, and the employees are super helpful and patient with questions. Terry always wants to give us a spoon of his newest concoctions to try, and they are usually AMAZING! Don't pass this little place up if you are within 100 miles!!!
