I was told the Palms cafe and other restaurants at this resort were recently renovated in the past year. Love that the Palms opens at 6 AM.“

You've got to hand it to Las Casuelas Cafe, they've kept the music going in Palm Desert. And their serving sizes should be considered large. With a roomy climate controlled porch, it's never uncomfortable. Yup, it can get busy. But I've watched the staff handle hungry chaotic crowds perfectly. That takes experience and a staff that has worked together many years. This certainly must be a tribute to the owner of the restaurant; who really is committed not only to his restaurant, but the community that it serves. “As a brand new Palm Springs resident; it took me passing by a few times before I noticed this groovy little store/cafe tucked into a strip center near Ralphs Suoermarket. I am so glad i didn’t pass them by today, but instead stopped for healthy and filling lunch. The Veggie burger and side of potatoes were well seasoned, with a great flavor and quite filling. The staff was friendly and the store seemed to have a great mix of natural and healthy products. A great find. I’ll be back!“

“The Blushing Peony is my go to for pastries which are such a treat for my clients. I pick up a box and make hand deliveries - very impressive and delicious. I also go for Happy Hour with my friends and the occasional event like Live Music and Paint and Sip's. They are exceptional at the skill of Farm to Fork and made from scratch meals. Don't forget the Wine dinners, those are amazing as well! Highly recommend, and the ambiance is just a plus among everything else.“

“This is a small family owned business run by the most lovely people! Chris, the chef has the most wonderful adaptation of any dish you order off the menu and they have daily specials; and Holly, wife and co owner is always there with a smile to greet you and is a fabulous baker of donuts and pastries ( seasonal, weather permitting). They are all so very hospitable you’ll want to eat there several times a week, we do!!! I have taken so many people here for brunch that have now become regulars. They are closed on Wednesday but open every other day of the week until 2 PM.“

“It has been a minute since I've been to the Renaissance Esmeralda here in Indian Wells. I'm not a big fan of the colossal golf/spa/resort complex of which this is a good example, but Goldenvoice puts people here for Coachella and Stage Coach so I've stayed here a couple times. This lobby espresso bar is new from last time, a welcome addition because I also got a room service breakfast from here (50) and it was capital P pathetic, so just send someone down here and get a coffee and whatever from this place and save yourself 40 dollars.Also this is one of those locations where leaving to go to Starbucks is a major production so having something serviceable in the lobby is great.“
