“People working here were super nice and worked so hard to get people seated and served. It was my favorite place we ate at in our week here on vacation. The fried chicken sandwich was yummy and they put it on sourdough like we wanted. The salad I got as a side was fresh and crisp. I wish they had been open for dinner, We needed dinner places. Would go back if I lived here.“
“Such a happy discovery! A delicious vegan cafe right when you enter Joshua Tree territory. The coffee drinks are amazing. The food is so flavorful. I got the supercado toast and it was so yummy. I'll definitely come back here for guilt free vegan food!“
“After visiting Joshua Tree National Park, I looked for a place to have dinner on my way back to LA. I didn't expect there to be a Korean restaurant nearby, but I searched for a Korean restaurant nearby, so I came to the restaurant with some hesitation. The food is oh so delicious. I was very disappointed with the Korean restaurant in LA Hanta (too salty and insincere), but this place is delicious even though it's not sweet and salty. It's hard to make food taste good without it being sweet or salty. Would you say that you felt relieved after a week of travelling? It's a traditional Korean food that tastes like home cooking without much flavor. The owner greeted me and gave me a bag of Crayon Shin-chan and Sora snacks for my child. The restaurant has a snack bar-like atmosphere but is clean. They also sell chicken and bungeoppang.I had squid rice bowl, bibimbap, and kimchi fried rice. All three were plentiful and delicious. I also packed tteokbokki and ate it at the hotel, and it was delicious even though it was cold.I didn't have any intention of reviewing it, so I took a picture while I was eating. This is my first time leaving a review. I hope that the owner's business goes well and that it becomes a famous Korean restaurant in Yucca Valley. I live overseas and not in Korea, so it's hard to get this much flavor at a Korean restaurant overseas, but the owner's sincerity is evident in the food. I really recommend it.“
“So so yummy! Very fast and friendly service. Plenty of seating arrangements inside and out. VERY spacious. Plenty of vegan/vegetarian options. They even have a condiment and utensil station for those who need extra! This place is very casual and laidback for those who want to read a book, eat breakie and drink coffee. Prices are very affordable! I honestly prefer this over the Joshua coffee shop. You can never go wrong with a simple, yet comforting cafe like this. Thank you!!!“
“Get breakfast here, load up the fridge for your Air BNB here, get lunch for your trip to Joshua Tree here. Great sandwiches and breakfast options, delicious coffee and a cool car outside.Kid-friendliness: Super kid friendly but not a sit down place. Def food a kid would eat.“
“Had the most lovely breakfast this morning at the Food for Thought Café. The tofu scramble had a great scrambled egg consistency and the potatoes and soup of the day were well seasoned and fresh. The espresso also hit the spot while my friend and I dined in low, comfy chairs basking in the morning sun. The staff was kind and welcoming from the beginning to end of our visit.“
“Good food and service, but sometimes they get busy, only one cook or two if you're lucky. The chef takes a break from 9:30am-10am (so they are closed) so that's a bummer. Daily specials are always fun. Pizza is the thing to order and the breakfast rocks too!“
“So happy we found this place, is "Off the Beaten Path", but please seek it out. The Burrito was REALLY great! [...NOT potato-heavy, as reported by another review] All the food was very good, if portions were big (like NOT my problem) enough that my companions both took home another meal. The Staff and Service were exemplary. It is NOT your 'normal Strip Mall' offering, as you'll notice when you enter. BUT, the real reason I wanted to review is the coffee, it's Joshua Tree Brand which is already above usual, and then they add Ghee (Butter!) And I kid you not you have THE smoothest, buttery cup of coffee EVER. My last tip is to go for the last choice, Owner's Wife Tobi's recipe adding several spices and maple syrup for the absolute bestest coffee experience...EVER!!!!!!!Vegetarian options: Just ASK, especially The COFFEEDietary restrictions: Just ASK. Especially The COFFEE“
