“Food is 10/10. The most gluten free-friendly place I've ever been to. Staff was great and happy to help with anything... except the hostess. I'm sure we are not the first to complain about her. People around us were also shocked with how she was speaking to us and the people before us. She does not fit in with the rest of the vibe. She was unbelievably rude and dismissive. Her replies were unprofessional and purposefully unhelpful. She hated being there and we almost left, honestly. I'm glad we stuck through her attitude and we enjoyed the meal but she should not be front of house. (Visited 3/30/24)“
“Visiting the Giant Rock Meeting Room felt like stumbling upon a hidden gem, especially when options around are so sparse. It's cozy, welcoming, and just the spot for a casual meet-up or a quiet meal. Now, as someone always on the lookout for vegan options, I found their offerings to be a sweet surprise. Sure, the choices are limited, but the vegan pizza and salad they do have are honestly delightful. The pizza, with its tasty toppings on a perfectly crispy crust, and the salad, fresh and vibrant, made for a satisfying meal. The place itself has a certain charm, with an ambiance that strikes the right balance between relaxed and conducive to good conversation. And the staff? They're the cherry on top—genuinely friendly and attentive, making you feel right at home. So, if you find yourself in the area, craving some plant-based fare, or just in need of a spot to unwind or chat, the Giant Rock Meeting Room is worth checking out. It's a small but mighty option among the limited eateries around, and that vegan pizza? Definitely a must-try.“
“Great people! Great Pizza! I had the opportunity to deliver a bounce house there and they were kind enough to give us a pie on the house. It's good to see people taking care of the community and making sure the kids have fun. Highly recommend families with kids coming here!Thank you Mike and friends!“
“So so yummy! Very fast and friendly service. Plenty of seating arrangements inside and out. VERY spacious. Plenty of vegan/vegetarian options. They even have a condiment and utensil station for those who need extra! This place is very casual and laidback for those who want to read a book, eat breakie and drink coffee. Prices are very affordable! I honestly prefer this over the Joshua coffee shop. You can never go wrong with a simple, yet comforting cafe like this. Thank you!!!“
“My favorite place in the high desert for pizza (and the only place that does Neapolitan style). Great, fresh ingredients, solid prices. Staff is always courteous, happy to help and quick with orders. Plus, there's a pool table if you order take-out and need to wait.“
“Such a happy discovery! A delicious vegan cafe right when you enter Joshua Tree territory. The coffee drinks are amazing. The food is so flavorful. I got the supercado toast and it was so yummy. I'll definitely come back here for guilt free vegan food!“
“Tiny Pony is the epitome of "Keep Yucca Valley Weird" and fabulous food. My party of four unanimously anointed the Tiny Pony Burger as the best burger we've very had...anywhere in the world! Every ingredient was purposively selected and prepared. Our review did not have anything to do with burgers being half off on Monday night but that was a bonus. Other notables - pretzel balls with housemade quest, fresh and hot French fries, and my wedge salad was delicious. And now we know why what appears to be a dive on the surface takes reservations. From the quirky and wild art all over the walls to the Photo Booth with Tiny Pony branding, this place is a must stop - and not just once.“
“Absolutely delicious baked goods! My wife and I visited Joshua Tree during an extended hiking trip in the area and during our 7 day stay we stopped at Luna Bakery 4 times - everything we had was incredible. We were helped by Megan (spelling?) who could not have been nicer and more patient in explaining the various products and helping us choose. Next year we might even stop in 5 times during our week's stay!“
