We were approached no less than four times by different servers asking how we were and if we needed anything else. The food is excellent. “Eight Desert Divas dined at Sí Bon Restaurant in Rancho Mirage on Thursday. We were celebrating one of our own lovely Diva's birthday. We made reservations ahead of time (thankfully) because they were VERY busy. It is a popular place. The service was excellent. The menu was great. They offer a summer menu which includes a three course dinner for $32. They also have a happy hour menu. I ordered the meat loaf dinner and it was delicious and plentiful. Others selected steak with fries, tacos, mussels, and a few other items. There were no complaints at all. They even brought out a birthday chocolate mousse with a candle and 8 individual spoons to honor our birthday girl. Our server was wonderful and he gave us separate checks (which we always appreciate). It was definitely a special night and we highly recommend Sí Bon. Be sure to make reservations ahead of time. You won't be disappointed.“

“Great food and very friendly, warm service. Even though they were having issues in the kitchen, the staff went above and beyond to make sure all patrons were comfortable, happy, and enjoying the experience. I had originally ordered my food to go but changed it to dine-in last minute (totally my fault). The kitchen had boxed up my food as a to-go order, and one staff member apologized and gifted me baklava as an apology. Completely unnecessary but so sweet and kind. I will definitely be back!

Today I went to the actual bakery shop and quality of the food is excellent. Outstanding bakery, amazing products and great staff. Definitely coming back to try the sandwich 🥪

“Best Homemade Ice Cream ever!

I had the chance to experience Handels in San Diego. This was my first taste of Handels. Their homemade flavors were interesting and different while still being delicious.

I thought today, being a relatively hot day, would be a good time to try the Handels here in Palm Desert. I ordered the Banana Split. This can feed a family of four, or one really hungry person (that was me). I ordered it traditional, with chocolate, strawberry and vanilla ice-creams. The bananas are sliced, which makes it easier to eat. Loved all the toppings (hot fudge, chopped cherries, crushed pineapple, strawberries and the chopped peanuts. And of course, the whipped cream and cherries on top! You can taste the ice-cream is homemade. Not only is it very flavorful, but also rich and creamy.

I liked that this location provides water misters on their patio, since it's only a walk up place. Very clean and a good amount of seating.

The staff are super friendly and the service was fast.

I sent an email and finally after a month Claudia replied called me on phone plus email . I spoke with Claudia and she made things right by me and was very apologetic. The pastries were so delicious, and the Sueno coffee completely blew me away with its orange and vanilla flavors—perfectly balanced and not overly sweet. I would’ve never thought of this combo in a coffee, but it’s amazing! I’ll definitely be back for this. I think it’s my new favorite coffee flavor. I also tried the Calabaza coffee, filled with cozy pumpkin and fall spices—so delicious and comforting. The staff is so friendly and incredibly helpful with the menu, and it really adds to the experience. There were about 20 people in line ahead of me today, but it was totally worth the wait, and they still got the drinks out impressively fast. “My favorite restaurant in the Coachella Valley, they maintain a calm and friendly atmosphere even during a lunch rush, the food is all of good quality and has never disappointed me. Many locals have been coming here for years and are pleasant to nod a head at. The Eggs Benedict with spinach on a crepe (potatoes provençales on the side) is my favorite order. May God bless and preserve their business and their employees.

Was able to find a table immediately.
The cappuccino was good. Was told they use Joshua Tree Coffee to make the coffee drinks.
I got the breakfast sandwich on jalapeño bagel. It was more than filling and yummy. Wife got the avocado toast with a well done egg, which came out over easy. But that was a minor issue.
The chicken pesto sandwich was also yummy.
Overall everything tasted good.
P.S. They also gave the kids some activity to keep them busy, which was a plus.“

Instead of letting the fruit rot on the trees, why not pick the fruit to sell or even donate to a food pantry? I was saddened seeing all the fruit going to waste.“
