“Eight Desert Divas dined at Sí Bon Restaurant in Rancho Mirage on Thursday. We were celebrating one of our own lovely Diva's birthday. We made reservations ahead of time (thankfully) because they were VERY busy. It is a popular place. The service was excellent. The menu was great. They offer a summer menu which includes a three course dinner for $32. They also have a happy hour menu. I ordered the meat loaf dinner and it was delicious and plentiful. Others selected steak with fries, tacos, mussels, and a few other items. There were no complaints at all. They even brought out a birthday chocolate mousse with a candle and 8 individual spoons to honor our birthday girl. Our server was wonderful and he gave us separate checks (which we always appreciate). It was definitely a special night and we highly recommend Sí Bon. Be sure to make reservations ahead of time. You won't be disappointed.“

“Some of the best food in the valley! The sandwiches taste fresh and the flavors meld together beautifully. The spring rolls and tofu fries are also great! The sauces compliment the flavors of all their food very well. I love love this place. The Vietnamese coffee tasted a little thin this time, but I also got it with 50% sweetness so might’ve been that they used less condensed milk in order to achieve less sweetness. The Thai tea and hibiscus tea are also yummy. I love supporting small businesses and especially those that put love into their food. I’ll def keep coming here :)“

“Absolutely loved the drinks at Tea n Tea! The Ube Oreo drink was creamy, rich, and perfectly balanced — such a unique and delicious flavor. The pineapple drink was refreshing, light, and perfectly tropical. Everything tasted amazing!

“You know how there are places you wish were close to where you live and at the same time, wish they were further away?! This is one of them. Although I expect that if there was one near where I live, I hope I'd be able to exercise a little self control.
The ice cream here is so fresh and delicious, it's hard to describe. For instance, their coffee ice cream tastes like pure coffee as opposed to coffee flavoring. The same goes for all of their flavors.
It appears that there are only 6 locations on the West Coast and 3 of them are in Palm Springs/Palm Desert. Nothing on the East Coast.
There are locations in Hawaii as that is where this ice cream eminated from. That's also where I first had this amazing delicacy.
If you have the good fortune of coming across one of the stores, I obviously highly recommend it.“

I also tried the Calabaza coffee, filled with cozy pumpkin and fall spices—so delicious and comforting. There were about 20 people in line ahead of me today, but it was totally worth the wait, and they still got the drinks out impressively fast. “My husband and I stopped in here for lunch after reading other reviews. I can honestly confirm the exceptional reviews. The atmosphere is very Hard Rockish with lots of fascinating memorabilia throughout, along with awesome large rockstar artwork. Music is great, along with large screen tvs and nice bar overlooking the golf course . There's an outside patio that looks to be set up for live entertainment, as well as other outdoor seating overlooking the golf course. The food was excellent! We shared an order of calimari fries and the cocktail sauce was great with a nice zing from the horseradish. My husband had the lunch special pizza with pepperoni and smoked chicken. I had the Italian pinwheels and fries...thoroughly enjoyed them, as they were stuffed with meats, cheese, etc. We would both order the same again, and plan to go back. Sadly, we both failed to take pics of the food, but did capture some of the fun interior. Our server was so friendly and welcoming and truly attentive. Definitely pay a visit.“
