On top of that (and reflecting the values of “Mr and Mrs Frisky”), there is a “pay it forward” board where one can purchase a drink or cat visit for someone who might need some support; and a pantry box where cat food donations can be dropped off for those who can use it or who feed community cats. “Possibly the best family-oriented mexican restaurant on the Palm Desert strip. A warm and understanding service staff, as well as terrific music in the evenings that allows the kids to dance and go a little crazy. You've got to hand it to Las Casuelas Cafe, they've kept the music going in Palm Desert. And their serving sizes should be considered large. With a roomy climate controlled porch, it's never uncomfortable. Yup, it can get busy. But I've watched the staff handle hungry chaotic crowds perfectly. That takes experience and a staff that has worked together many years. This certainly must be a tribute to the owner of the restaurant; who really is committed not only to his restaurant, but the community that it serves. But honestly, It comes down to the guacamole, doesn't it? Las Casuelas Cafe has the best!“

“IW Coffee & Chai Bar is definitely one of those tucked-away finds… like VERY tucked at the end of the plaza on a corner, easy to miss if you’re not looking.

Chai lovers, you’ll be happy. Nothing mind blowing but solid and satisfying. I got the “cub chai” with soy and loved the generous cinnamon on top. Cute drink names, plenty of alternative milks, and the power vegan cookie was actually so good.

“I have to say I’m seriously impressed and that wasn’t what I was expecting. My family of 6 ended up here because we couldn’t get an early reservation at any of the other restaurants we wanted to try.

When we walked in the place was almost empty and we were literally the only people there. That’s usually a bit scary and we were hesitant at first but honestly the food was outstanding. I had the chicken and it was excellent. Others had the steak which was delicious, the burger was huge and really well put together and the chicken caesar was great too. “As a brand new Palm Springs resident; it took me passing by a few times before I noticed this groovy little store/cafe tucked into a strip center near Ralphs Suoermarket. I am so glad i didn’t pass them by today, but instead stopped for healthy and filling lunch. The Veggie burger and side of potatoes were well seasoned, with a great flavor and quite filling. The staff was friendly and the store seemed to have a great mix of natural and healthy products. A great find. I’ll be back!“

“It has been a minute since I've been to the Renaissance Esmeralda here in Indian Wells. I'm not a big fan of the colossal golf/spa/resort complex of which this is a good example, but Goldenvoice puts people here for Coachella and Stage Coach so I've stayed here a couple times. This lobby espresso bar is new from last time, a welcome addition because I also got a room service breakfast from here (50) and it was capital P pathetic, so just send someone down here and get a coffee and whatever from this place and save yourself 40 dollars.Also this is one of those locations where leaving to go to Starbucks is a major production so having something serviceable in the lobby is great.“

Something as simple as a salad is amazing when it’s some Gooy’s café! I think they probably have the best breakfast is around. The portion sizes are large and the price is fair. It might be more than I can eat, but then I usually end up splitting with my mom. If we’ve got room for a little something extra order or something else and eat what we can and take the rest home. I love this place more than I can say. Truly a culinary delight! If you haven’t tried, put it on your to-do list whether it’s breakfast brunch or lunch, you’ll never be disappointed. “Today, was our first visit to the Panera Bread. We were amazingly surprised that Italian sandwich is soooo delicious! Yes, it's kinda expensive, but DELICIOUS!!! “As Panera locations go, this one is above average. It's clean, cozy, and pretty efficient.

You can order at either the counter, or the self service kiosks. Your order is then tracked on a screen so you don't have to wait blindly with a number.

The employees were friendly and quick. The dining area was tidy and inviting, and didn't have that weird chaotic energy you sometimes get from Panera locations.

The food, well, it's Panera. It's fine. It's pretty good. No surprises there. I'd happily return to this location, as I have been to many, many worse!“

“Goody's is great. I've never eaten anything off the menu that I didn't like. There's multiple Goody's across the valley, this one happens to be across the street from the Flying J truck stop and makes it convenient for drivers to whom I would say, I would highly recommend eating there before tanking up on the fast food joints that are just down the street. Breakfast, lunch or dinner there's something for everybody and they serve it all, all day long.“
