“Go now! This place not only has great donuts, but a beautiful kind staff. It is so hard to find places that actually care for their customers. This place checks all the boxes! The woman who I believe is the owner is so nice and caring. She even through in extra donuts so they wouldn't go to waste at the end of the day. A warm and understanding service staff, as well as terrific music in the evenings that allows the kids to dance and go a little crazy. You've got to hand it to Las Casuelas Cafe, they've kept the music going in Palm Desert. And their serving sizes should be considered large. With a roomy climate controlled porch, it's never uncomfortable. Yup, it can get busy. But I've watched the staff handle hungry chaotic crowds perfectly. “As a brand new Palm Springs resident; it took me passing by a few times before I noticed this groovy little store/cafe tucked into a strip center near Ralphs Suoermarket. I am so glad i didn’t pass them by today, but instead stopped for healthy and filling lunch. The Veggie burger and side of potatoes were well seasoned, with a great flavor and quite filling. The staff was friendly and the store seemed to have a great mix of natural and healthy products. A great find. I’ll be back!“

“This is a small family owned business run by the most lovely people! Chris, the chef has the most wonderful adaptation of any dish you order off the menu and they have daily specials; and Holly, wife and co owner is always there with a smile to greet you and is a fabulous baker of donuts and pastries ( seasonal, weather permitting). They are all so very hospitable you’ll want to eat there several times a week, we do!!! I have taken so many people here for brunch that have now become regulars. They are closed on Wednesday but open every other day of the week until 2 PM.“

I'm not a big fan of the colossal golf/spa/resort complex of which this is a good example, but Goldenvoice puts people here for Coachella and Stage Coach so I've stayed here a couple times. This lobby espresso bar is new from last time, a welcome addition because I also got a room service breakfast from here (50) and it was capital P pathetic, so just send someone down here and get a coffee and whatever from this place and save yourself 40 dollars.Also this is one of those locations where leaving to go to Starbucks is a major production so having something serviceable in the lobby is great.“

We recently had a goodbye dinner at Al Dente Trattoria for a couple from our snowbird park. There were nine of us, and overall the food was good. Everyone ordered full meals, and the service was acceptable, especially considering the restaurant was relatively empty.

Before dining, we had all requested separate checks. What we did not realize was that the restaurant automatically added a 20% gratuity for parties over six people. Three people in our group noticed this and did not add an additional tip. Unfortunately, three of us did not catch it and ended up tipping more than 20% on top of the already-added 20%.

The next morning, after realizing what had happened, I called the restaurant right away. I explained the situation politely and asked if they could remove the extra tip from my bill, as I had also left cash. I was only speaking for myself, not the rest of the group. The woman I spoke with was very pleasant and told me she would look into it and get back to me.

Unfortunately, I never heard back, and the charge went through unchanged. As a result, our waitress received approximately a 40% tip on three fairly large bills.

I fully understand that I should have noticed the automatic gratuity myself, and I take responsibility for that. However, once the restaurant was made aware that several guests had clearly made the same mistake, I had hoped they would show some goodwill and help resolve it. Since nothing was done and no follow-up was provided, I am rating this restaurant one star based on the way the situation was handled from an ethical and customer service standpoint.“

“Fresh! Fresh! Fresh! Had the Coachella sandwich, so fresh (did I mention how fresh the food is?) and crispy. The lemon poppy- moist and delicious with a slightly crunchy top. Cinnamon loaf- nice consistency, not too sweet. I was driving home and the wife and I almost turned around to get another Coachella! Nice girls too!“

“The Blushing Peony is my go to for pastries which are such a treat for my clients. I pick up a box and make hand deliveries - very impressive and delicious. I also go for Happy Hour with my friends and the occasional event like Live Music and Paint and Sip's. They are exceptional at the skill of Farm to Fork and made from scratch meals. Don't forget the Wine dinners, those are amazing as well! Highly recommend, and the ambiance is just a plus among everything else.“

The crunchy chicken wrap is okay it’s basically bagged salad with well done chicken tenders cut into chunks it’s tasty I give it a 8.5/10 chicken Caesar was great too. Beautiful presentation. Taste was good 9/10. Fries were nice and crispy. Now the service. The girl taking orders really needs to work on her tone and attitude. That’s the only reason I did not give a 5 stars.“

“This is a little quick grab and go place within the Omni Rancho Las Palmas Resort & Spa. We stayed for the week and this was my go to latte place. I ordered an oat milk latte and it was perfect-not too strong. They serve Joshua Tree coffee. The coconut chia pudding was also delicious. I was told the Palms cafe and other restaurants at this resort were recently renovated in the past year. Love that the Palms opens at 6 AM.“

“As Panera locations go, this one is above average. It's clean, cozy, and pretty efficient.

You can order at either the counter, or the self service kiosks. Your order is then tracked on a screen so you don't have to wait blindly with a number.

The employees were friendly and quick. The dining area was tidy and inviting, and didn't have that weird chaotic energy you sometimes get from Panera locations.

The food, well, it's Panera. It's fine. It's pretty good. No surprises there. I'd happily return to this location, as I have been to many, many worse!“

“So disappointed in the new steak salad, it was just unappetizing to look at! The steak was kind of a soft pinkish color. It didn't look like meat; it looked like some kind of a ground substance even though it was a proper meat, I guess. The lettuce was limp. It would have been so much better and crisper if there was some romaine in there. The soft greens or whatever they were just didn't hold up to the steak.“
