“Visited The Dez on a trip from NJ and had my favorite meal here! The lentil and hummus on pita was delicious. I hate cooking and have already recreated it twice back home. I also had the Nancy's Fancy chocolate hazelnut gelato for dessert. Just the best meal. Thank you“

“I had such a great experience at Big Dez! I ordered the tuna melt on pumpernickel bread, and it was delicious. I also grabbed a Mexican Coca-Cola and a Bundaberg Passionfruit Ginger Beer to enjoy with my meal. 🥪🥤

They brought my plate out to me, and when I asked if I could get a cup of ice, the lady brought it right over with no hesitation. That kind of thoughtful service really stood out to me. 😊

It was also nice being able to sit inside and enjoy my meal while watching people relax at the window seating. They have such a great selection of healthy items, along with plenty of products you can grab and go. I ended up getting a chocolate chip cookie to take with me, too! 🍪

I definitely plan on coming back tomorrow before I leave. There’s still more I want to try, and I really enjoyed my visit. Highly recommend checking out Big Dez if you’re in the area!“

“It took 4 years for them to be able to open this restaurant, so much bureaucracy and red tape, it’s a miracle it exists. It’s not easy to run + open a restaurant in JT. I for one am grateful for a new food option here in Joshua Tree, thank you to the owners for the time and energy you put into getting this restaurant off the ground. I’m sure it’s going to become a Joshua tree staple.“

“I had the pleasure of eating here a week ago. The restaurant is the cleanest restaurant I've been in, even in the restroom. The plants and decor sets a vibe. Susan and her son made me feel so welcome. They allowed me to try different things, and Susan even gave me sushi to take with me. The food was fresh. Everything super tasty. I have no complaints and recommend this place to everyone. You can tell they put a lot of thought and effort there. The love and energy are felt as soon as you walk through the door!“

“I absolutely love this place. I’m here almost every week. The poke bowls are delicious, very nice sized and the boba tea’s are really good too. I don’t want mine too sweet and they offered to add less syrup/sugar. The owner is husband and wife duo and they are so friendly and personable. Wish they opened earlier because I’m an early bird but other than that I have no complaints. I highly recommend this place.“
