“Had a great experience trying the Jalapeño Queso Tamale which I shared with my friend and Blueberry Hibiscus Iced Drink! We also got lucky and snagged the last tamale they had that day—it was delicious. I added some Cholula hot sauce for an extra kick, and it was the perfect touch. The queso was flavorful and creamy, the blueberry hibiscus drink was refreshing and fruity, and my friend really enjoyed the Iced Latte. The cashier was super friendly and even checked on us to make sure everything was going well. Great food, drinks, and service—definitely worth a visit! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Knowing what door to enter is half the battle. Easy for most, but on the hottest of days on crutches, some have a harder time than others with the lack of direction. Unless you're a local who knows better. This definitely feels like a local haunt that's likely to catch a few tourists heading in and out of the desert.

Food was good but inconsistent.. the salad was enough for four people but my quesadilla, although flavorful and fresh (as was the salsa) was woefully thin. Other dishes were OK. The highlight was the eclectic interior and the fun, witty waiter.”

“We were visiting Joshua and were staying nearby. Walked over Saturday night. Place was packed but the service was efficient, friendly and organized. Best of all the pizza was delicious. Crust was perfect, toppings were generous. Great place to visit.”

“I had such a great experience at Big Dez! I ordered the tuna melt on pumpernickel bread, and it was delicious. I also grabbed a Mexican Coca-Cola and a Bundaberg Passionfruit Ginger Beer to enjoy with my meal. 🥪🥤

They brought my plate out to me, and when I asked if I could get a cup of ice, the lady brought it right over with no hesitation. That kind of thoughtful service really stood out to me. 😊

It was also nice being able to sit inside and enjoy my meal while watching people relax at the window seating. They have such a great selection of healthy items, along with plenty of products you can grab and go. I ended up getting a chocolate chip cookie to take with me, too! 🍪

I definitely plan on coming back tomorrow before I leave. There’s still more I want to try, and I really enjoyed my visit. Highly recommend checking out Big Dez if you’re in the area!”

“I use to live in West LA, when I was 18, that was 48 years ago, one guy had a bagel store he made a machine that made 🥯 great bagels. Looked forward to each visit. I was very pleased to see your bagels in our food basket.

“Finally made it happen and had the most delicious organic lunch here, for the first time. Wonderfully eclectic & interesting crowd of diners. We had a table for 2 people and a dog within about 10 minutes on a Saturday. The service so friendly and helpful, we were offered drinks while we waited. A welcoming environment & great energy. Nice people, the owner herself and all who work there. Wonderful & cozy chic seating outside. Lots of well mannered dogs making the ambiance even that much more pleasing. This place has very talented & creative chefs. The staff is welcoming and friendly. Great service throughout meal. My hubby had the steak with grilled peppers while I had the most delicious Salmon Salad which was prepared with love & each ingredient such excellent quality. I think we were told our beef came from free range organic farm in Australia. The water they serve is from a local aquaphore and tastes excellent. If I remember correctly our desert was toasted parents with raspberries & a glaze that was uniquely tasty. We will definitely be back to this gem.”

“I had the pleasure of eating here a week ago. The restaurant is the cleanest restaurant I've been in, even in the restroom. The plants and decor sets a vibe. Susan and her son made me feel so welcome. They allowed me to try different things, and Susan even gave me sushi to take with me. The food was fresh. Everything super tasty. I have no complaints and recommend this place to everyone. You can tell they put a lot of thought and effort there. The love and energy are felt as soon as you walk through the door!”
