“Last minute recommendation from a park ranger. We weren’t particularly creative with 2 sqrl burgers but were very pleased. Would come back.”

“In the middle of Joshua Tree National Park. Toilet available. No connections whatsoever. No cell phone reception. It's best to book in advance. All places were occupied. Good privacy. All places close together and yet separated by bushes. Very nicely laid out. Table and fire pit/grill available.”

“Our first time in couldn't have been better! Our service was phenomenal and everyone was so friendly. I have the Bacon Ranch Chicken sandwich and french fries, both were so tast. It was a great place to relax and unwind. There even appeared to be a BBQ truck on site too, I would love to know the times of that to try it. The icing on the cake was that we were able to eat on the patio with our pup, our amazing waitress offered him water and even a puppy patty. “The only "downside" is that it's just one person in the kitchen making the food, so expect to wait a little longer.

HOWEVER, the food is delicious and the portions are very large. Easily the best tacos and burritos in the entire area ?!!”

“Absolutely the best barbecue. We drive 1.5 hours to this great place. My husband has been coming here for 50 years and never been disappointed. I start with Jalapeños and go on from there. Steaks are cut on site and chicken dishes are great as is the salmon.”

“Maximilianos’s is AMAZING! While, visiting the JT National Park, we stayed in 29 Palms. We were craving Mexican food and this restaurant was highly recommended. The food was 100% authentic and the charm of the restaurant with great customer service really made for an enjoyable experience! We definitely will be back!!”

“Hole in a wall and a gem to have in 29palms. I have heard from friends how cute the inside was and the customer service. I believe all of it now. I ordered their strawberry poppy seed scone and it was yummy. I’ll definitely come back & I highly recommend for groups or to-go orders. Really nice vibe here.”

“We dined at many Thai Restaurant. In fact, it's one of our favorite types of food. We have dined at the restaurant several times before during our visits to Twentynine Palms, California. The food is delicious, I will admit it, and the service is always great.

This last dining experience was a little different. It's understandable that all restaurants need to be cleaned thoroughly. However, during our dining experience, the only thing I could smell was the cleaning agent they used. I could actually smell it once I opened the restaurant doors. It almost detered me from going in. That was the only negative.

Their food is great and always delicious. The Chicken Satay was flavorful and was probably larger than most chicken satay we have had. The yellow curry was great and was very flavorful. They don't skimp on the chicken. The Mix Veggie with chicken was also delicious. The Mango and sticky rice was a fantastic ending to a delicious meal.

The service has always been great when we dine here.”

Sushi rolls: 3/5 Not the highest quality salmon, rice tends to be dry (could just be my experience one time)
Spicy beef and rice: 4/5 Hubby says he wished it had more beef (comes with a good amount though so it could just be him lol)
not a very strong flavor, kinda bland which is surprising for a kimchi but if you like a mellow flavor then it should be good for you.
Price & Serving size: 5/5 good prices for a filling and tasty portion of food.
Ramen: 3.5/5 broth could have a stronger flavor

“First time visiting. I’ve passed by many times but never thought to come here for boba until my friends told me about their bobas. So I Came here just for their boba. I was thoroughly impressed by how clean the inside is. It’s also very cozy and the atmosphere feels very welcoming. I got their milk tapioca and I enjoyed it. Will return to try other bobas!

“The food is decent but overpriced and every once in a while I have been served bad food. E.g, I had the buffalo chicken salad and one of the chicken strips was too tough to eat and discolored. The other strip was fine and my friend’s buffalo chicken wrap was also fine. The daily specials are also pretty good and it doesn’t usually take too long to get your food. If you’re around, it’s a good place to check out.”

“So it took way too long to get our pizzas. I was told 30-40 minutes delivery time and it was an hour and 15 minutes until we finally got ours. I'm giving it a 5 star due to the fact when I called the second time the manager having good customer service and the driver was also polite and apologetic.”

“We’ve eaten good food here many times and although one week it wasn’t as good as usual you have to expect imperfection from the restaurants in a small town. Usually it’s been great and far tastier than many of the other Mexican takeout establishments here. Fresh home made salsa if you order chips. Crispy tacos and taquitos are yummy. Guacamole isn’t “green sour cream” like some places. They’ll change the TV channel if you’re not happy with what’s playing.”
