We had a very beautiful, secluded, and quiet campsite. We will be back - JTNP is wonderful. Sure wish they would allow dogs on the trails.
Drove in at night and woke up on another planet! Amazing location and geological features.
Great campground for tents and campers. There are boulders all over for climbing/scrambling.
It's also part of a trail loop that goes to skull rock.
Note there is no water in the park, so you must bring your own.

Jumbo Rocks Campground, located in Joshua Tree National Park, offers a unique camping experience surrounded by boulders and Joshua Trees. Each site includes a firepit, tent area, picnic table, and parking spot. While there is no water available on-site, the beautiful night sky provides stunning views of the Milky Way. Reservations are necessary due to limited availability and lack of cell phone reception. Visitors can enjoy the peaceful setting, with wild animals heard at night and a picturesque sunrise in the morning.
