This location and the one up the hill in Morongo Valley have similar vibes but the DHS one is a bit of a bigger location. I wish they stayed open a bit later into the night, my only feedback.”

“Excellent food. Lamb was tasty but cooked well, spicy and flavorful. Chicken the same with mild and very savory sauce. Naan bread was crunchy but not dry and still able to scoop sauce. Loved it!”

“This is always our stop on the way out of town for breakfast/lunch before hitting the road. Staff is super friendly, especially the waitress who handles the outside tables. We love seeing her every time! They bring bowls of water for the dogs. While we usually sit outside because of the dogs, the inside is like a typical diner with tables, booths and counter service. The food is delicious, the prices are very reasonable and even sitting outside, they still come by regularly to check on us for refills or anything else we need. You can pay by card, but it does not give the option for tips, so bring cash for that as they deserve good tips. There is parking along the side of the restaurant, but you can also park on the street or on the dirt area across the alley.”

“The mole enchiladas were TO DIE FOR! I cook mole and this recipe has me stumped, the presentation is also 10/10 The staff was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. The chips and salsa were excellent as well and I had the Jamaica agua fresca and it’s was just sweet enough any sweeter or diluted would be too much!!! Definitely coming back!!!”
