This place has the absolute BEST and most authentic Mexican food I have EVER experienced anywhere. I would easily drive 50 miles a day just to eat there and their enchilada sauce beyond excellence! It is by far my favorite place within a 100 miles of Joshua Tree! An absolutely must! Highly recommended!
I go here every week and always bring friends when they’re in town. Amazing recipes & they cook the tortillas to order! The salsa bar is fresh and spicy and although everything is served hot and homestyle it is always very consistent. Best Mexican food in the Hi Des. Authentic delicious Mexican tacos! Nice welcoming family. We stopped in after leaving the Joshua Tree National Park. The tacos are large, filled to the brim with carnitas (or whatever else you crave). Nice condiments bar with spicy sauces. We got the creamiest guacamole on the side.The place is small with a few tables and booths. It’s accessible, with a large clean bathroom behind the kitchen. Ample parking right outside the restaurant.
