“Did a search on “best mexican food in the Coachella Valley” and this popped up. So I loaded up the wagon and brought the gang for lunch. Everyone LOVED it. Our server was delightful and the food fantastic! Best carnitas I’ve had in a LONG time. Bonus points for being a location shoot for “A Star Is Born.””

“My favorite stop when driving to Arizona. I love there pancakes. Now I can get my favorite omelet and add pancakes for $2.00. I love their servers they really work as a team. Their cooks always make my food perfect.”

The host, Daniella, was so kind and made our time at Maleza worth while (she’s a great photographer if you want some group photos). My friend is vegan and they accommodated to make tacos for her that weren’t even on the menu. If you are in downtown Palm Springs, or just visiting, this place is a must try!”

“My friend and I enjoyed everything. We started with the burrata, I got the filet, and she had the salmon. Everything was delicious and tasty. We both commented that everything had the perfect amount of salt for our taste too! The tahini ice cream was interesting and not too heavy which made it the perfect way to end the meal. The service was wonderful. Interesting location and very tastefully decorated inside. We definitely splurged, but it was worth it!”

“This restaurant is amazing. The servers are constantly coming around to make sure everything is okay.
The hostess was friendly and inviting. She made of feel like family.
The food is wonderfully pleasing to the eyes and tummy. The amount of food you get is enough to overstuffed anyone. The food I'd non greasy and so finger kicking good. We tried the stuffed hashbrowns, the Germany pancake, the cinnamon roll pancake combo, the rancher and how can forget the potato pancake. Omg! They were delicious. Just the right amount of meat and cheese. The cinnamon roll pancake was flaky and not to sweet. Very good. The biscuits were big enough to fit on the palm of your hands. They were flaky and soft not hard.
Definitely my favorite place to visit in Palm Springs. Will be coming back next time.”

Nor did he offer dessert. The gentleman refilling my water, salsa, and chips was awesome though. Maybe I happen to miss it each time I’m but I really would like to hear some mariachi or other types of traditional Mexican music whether live or recorded. This is a Mexican restaurant after all. “The most delicious, family-owned restaurant in Palm Springs. Honestly the best food and quality I have eaten in all of my trips to this area. The owner and his wife make everything from scratch, making the 15-20 min wait welllll worth it! He even gave us some fresh passionfruit juice while we waited.

We couldn’t wait to get back home and dig in. The patacones with shredded beef was absolutely insane. The empanadas were deliciously flavored and spiced, I cant wait to come back.”
