“I was passing through town & it was a Sunday night, so places closed early. Fans was open. I was warmly greeted, had a tasty Cali-burger that was nicely prepared. Their air-fried fries were on point. Glad they were open. Thanks y’all.“
“Nete place to hang out on the week end, only time it's open now, be nice if it where like the old days open all week, some nice chicks show up to party and have fun. Food is good. Bands normally on Friday Saturdays if nothing planned, it's open mic, got an old pool table, but it's free to play friendly spot.Parking: PlentyKid-friendliness: Family place“
“This place was perfect! The service is friendly and fast. The atmosphere is eclectic. There is a lot to look at - cactus garden to the art and Bogart the Grey African Parrot. We had a the breakfast sandwich and the breakfast bowl. Both were delicious. I couldn’t have asked for a better before-hike mean than black eyed peas, egg, plantains, and avocado! Perfect!“
“My father, husband and I went today. We come here often and love it!! Everything from the menu, food and friendly people. I especially love the chicken fried chicken. Our server Duran did an excellent job of taking care of us ? I recommend this restaurant and we will return.“
“Well regarded local diner chain found in Yucca Valley and this store in 29 palms. The burgers were very affordable and generous. I enjoyed the fried zucchini. The building was an old KFC so the décor felt like fast food, but the meals came on plates with flatware. The staff was kind.“
“The food is decent but overpriced and every once in a while I have been served bad food. E.g, I had the buffalo chicken salad and one of the chicken strips was too tough to eat and discolored. The other strip was fine and my friend’s buffalo chicken wrap was also fine. The daily specials are also pretty good and it doesn’t usually take too long to get your food. If you’re around, it’s a good place to check out.“
“This is my favorite place to eat on base because I actually get full and I don't have to pay $20 for a big meal. I usually get the burrito and it comes out to under $15. The wait time is usually pretty long if you go during lunch so I recommend going at 1 or later. This is where a lot of the MCCES students like to go, so that is something also to be aware of.“
“This place is enchanting and has everything you need from breakfast until dinner dessert! The cabins are exactly how they were built a long time ago! Very nostalgic for old camp memories. The food at the restaurant is delicious!! The breakfast was really good!! They even have Togo cups!“
