“So far on our way to slab city… stopped at the last del taco before Mexicali. Off of 66th Mecca ca. Coolest dude ever! Very chill like told us it was shift change and we had no problem waiting. Super kind even tho we were being the stupid stoners we are. And hooked it up for us! Now it’s people like that that make my heart happy! Thank you sir 🙏🏼“

“We were looking for a sweet treat, did a quick search, and ended up here—and we’re so glad we did. The menu is simple and focused entirely on raspados, and they truly specialize in them. The flavors were delicious, and the texture of the ice was perfect—every bite was packed with flavor.
The owners were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and efficient, which made the experience even better. If you’re in the area and craving something refreshing, this spot is definitely worth a visit.“

“First time visiting Taqueria Mazatlan and we were extremely impressed!
We were greeted within seconds of walking in, and once seated, the staff went above and beyond by bringing us samples of their different meats since it was our first time. Everything we tried was absolutely delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. The food was exceptional, but the amazing service made the experience even better.
Definitely the best taco food truck we’ve tried in this area — we’ll absolutely be back!“

“Been coming to this little restaurant for over 5 years and I am only saddened that I discovered it late. My husband holds very dear memories of this place as a child. “Food is great. Maybe even the best in it's category. Service is awesome. My reason for tge 2 ☆☆ in Atmosphere is because of where the food truck is located. Is not only very dangerous given the fact that jerk irresponsible drivers Zoom thru that street but it is also right on the dirt and can be a lot more dusty when windy.“

“Seafood was amazing, great atmosphere, and excellent service! Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and delicious. Our server, Kenya, was wonderful—very friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. She truly made our experience even better. We’ll definitely be coming back! “I ate breakfast at The Plaza Restaurante on Wed April 23, 2025. I had an omelet. It was huge. Very delicious, too. The waitress was wonderful! Sorry I didn’t get her name to give a shoutout to. She kept the restaurant very clean & sparkling. They are also dog friendly with patio dining in front. 🐶 I would recommend The Plaza Restaurante in Mecca, CA whole heartedly.“
