This place is amazing! Everything we ordered was perfectly cooked and seasoned, and the pupusas were an exotic delight. The waiter was also very friendly and knowledgeable and the prices were reasonable. Thumbs up!

El Guanaquito Pupusería & Mexican Food serves authentic Salvadoran and Mexican dishes, including pupusas, tamales de elote, tamales de pollo, and tostada de camaron. The pupusas are described as some of the best, tasty and delicious, with incredible salsas and curtido that make them even more flavorful. The tamales de elote are smooth and delicious with crema on the side, and the chicken tamales are very tasty. Customers also recommend the Jamaica and Horchata fresh water. The place is big, spacious, with plenty of parking and a bathroom inside. It is a typical mom and pop style with a low budget interior, but the food is excellent, even after a 20-minute drive home. Vegetarian options include pupusas without meat, a breakfast burrito without meat, and guac and chips. The staff is very attentive, and the sauces are described as to die for. This is considered the best place for pupusas in the valley, with authentic taste and worth the wait.
