5 of us were there for lunch on their first day. The outdoor seating and setting was great and the food quality and taste was a nice surprise! What a great addition and now so close to drop in at. We bought one of the frequent dining cards and are looking forward to many more nice meals. So nice to have a nearby place with good food to bring company, especially if they are golfers. Bid I mention the nice BAR. All 5 of us said we would definitely come back. We all ordered different items and our meals were all ones we would order again in the future. The staff was courteous and food came up fairly quickly. PS: They also did a wonderful job with the remodeling, inside and out.

Avoid this resort. The photographs on their website are very misleading. It is a very basic timeshare place which I believe recently decided to attract hotel guests as well. However they are not set up for this. The resort is shabby and in need of an uplift. Their Villas are large but the furnishings are old, tired and worn. They have no on site dinning facilities and the business center is dismal. The front desk staff are not properly trained and lack basic knowledge of the area. Above all the smell throughout is stale and dirty.

Not sure why all the bad ratings.. but this stay has been nothing short of amazing! They have an 18+ adult heated pool with no screaming kids. But if you want the screaming kids jumping in your face splashing water all over you then there is a whole other separate pool you can join (although it is cold.) they also have a hot tub which was amazing late at night when you want to relax. I played pool once in the game room and that was fun. During the evenings it's packed with people though so good luck getting a turn! Our room was very quiet and you can't hear the neighbors next to you one bit. We had a kitchenette and everything, very convenient. The front staff was very helpful and quick to check us in. We will be staying here in the future without a doubt.

This was our first Welk experience and it was overwhelmingly disappointing! We purchased ownership on a visit to Northstar in Tahoe; and did so based on the promise that we could vacation in all the locations with the same level of quality, amenities, and service. This was definitely NOT the case here; it would be very difficult to classify this as luxury based on the quality and experience. We checked in to find dirty carpet, a couch with writing and coloring on it (with a wear hole in it!), a plugged toilet that had to be cleared with a snake, and blankets/towels that were worn beyond acceptable use. I called to request a different room but that was not accommodated. The whole experience was so disappointing we checked out early and opted to pay for a hotel instead. I would definitely not recommend this location as we were disappointed with the property, amenities, and service. (The exception to this was the facilities repairman and the housekeeping, both of which were very helpful and apologetic.) Overall, so disappointing! I am giving two stars instead of one because the service from housekeeping/maintenance and the pool is nice.

The hotel is clean but the rooms are very old... I checked in at 5:00 pm and the room was not ready yet, I asked for a rolling bed but we have been here for 2 days and still no bed... the lady at the reception seemed to not know at all what she was doing...

I was contacted by Welk Resorts Palm Springs to participate in a 1-hour presentation and was offered a gift in exchange for my time. The gift was for two 30-minute therapeutic massages to Revive Wellness Center in Palm Springs. However, when I contacted Revive Wellness Center to schedule my appointment, I learned the business was not in existence as it was sold. I returned to Welk Resorts Palm Springs to exchange the invalid gift they advertised and offered me for an alternative gift, but they stated they were unable to exchange it for a different gift as it was out of their control that Revive Wellness Center is no longer in existence. I informed them they are practicing false advertisement by marketing false gifts for their customer's time. I contacted the Welk Resorts Palm Springs representative Vanessa Martinez via email at [email protected] but have not received a response and was unable to contact her by phone as Welk Resorts Palm Springs refused to provide her contact number to me. I strongly advise to avoid Welk Resorts altogether to avoid false advertisement practices as well as avoid wasting valuable time you will never be compensated for in lieu of the presentation. Welk Resorts is a true gimmick that is advertising false promises!

" Nice Place To Stay In Palm Springs " My wife and I used some of our timeshare days, and stayed 5 days at the Welk Desert Oasis Resort in Palm Springs. The Staff is very friendly and will do anything to make you happy. The pool area is very nice as they have an adult pool, a larger regular pool, and a large Jacuzzi. They also have special events happening all day and everyday, and have pool tables , game areas, and a small gym to work out in. The rooms you stay in are very large, and the bed was very comfortable. The Desert Oasis grounds and plants look very nice also. And the golf course is within walking distance from your room. We will definitely be back to this Welk Desert Oasis site.

12/1/2014 Nice place with good staff. Inglebert at the grill is outstanding...rooms are clean and large. nice to have an adult pool close to the kids pool, great value for the location. For a Time Share location it has lots to offer the kids and nice location but need to drive to just about everything. Hay, that is common here in the Desert Oasis area. 12/3/2018 we stayed again and not much has been updated since the last stay. popcorn ceiling needs to go....had several maintenance items in the room that needed to be address....time to move on. The staff works hard but there is a lack of management and the management needs to do some training of the staff. It is always my believe that MANAGEMENT is responsible for most issues...especially untrained and maintenance issues....the place is dirty it is a little difficult to walk from the resort as there are no sidewalks and it is a raceway out front.
First time to Palm Springs and it was such a nice, quiet, and beautiful town. The Welk Resorts was definitely a great choice to stay at as well. We were barely in our room but we had no complaints during our stay. If this resort didn't have the 1-in-4 rule I'd stay here all the time!

We really enjoy coming to this Welk in palm springs. The 1 bedrooms are very spacious and well kept. The staff is extremely friendly and always willing to help when it is needed. Some of the rooms have golf course and mountain views which is really awesome as well. There was a thunder storm while we were there last and the echo of the mountains was awesome! They have an adult and common pool with a play room for the kids with a bunch of activities available. Overall while we are in palm springs (cathedral city) this is one of our go to places to stay!

My husband And I spent our honeymoon at the Welks resort and it was simply amazing. We utilized the inspired lounge and made friends with the staff. We were able to do archery and margarita bingo. We also rented movies and built a puzzle. They have an amazing escape room. One of my favorites so far! And a VR room to take you into another world. We really wanted to give Josh a shout out for making our honeymoon so enjoyable. He truly had the best attitude and excellent customer service. Keep it up Josh and thank you for making our honeymoon special.

We booked the room 1 months ahead and when we arrived on the check-in they said that they fully booked and they gave us a shitty room with the parking lot view. At very end of the building. No bar. Inside the resort you can smell how old is it.
