Wow. My husband gets his hair cut in this strip mall and saw Cherrys and stopped in to check it out. We're NJ/NY Jews, so are quite familiar with this tasty Jewish/Yiddish dessert. And he knows I love me some rugelah.Damn, these were good. He got the assorted - he ate the chocolate, I ate the raspberry. Excited to try the apricot next! And intrigued by the cinnamon-raisin-nut. Had a taste of their rugelach at the Joshua tree farmer’s market this weekend and wanted to stop by to support the business with a review at least, if I can’t make it in person for a while. The husband was very nice! I’m sure the wife is as well. All the varieties (cinnamon nut, apricot, raspberry, chocolate, and chocolate raspberry) were delicious. You can tell they’re freshly made. We stopped in on a whim when going to the nearby CVS. The owner is amazing, so friendly and encouraged us to try multiple flavors. He put together a package of pastries hot out of the oven just for us. I've never had rugelah before; they were amazingly good! You must try!
