Are they still in business? The other day and today look like they are clearing it out and the signs are down? Maybe revamping?

The food was ok, but the portions were quite small for the price charged. I do not like to eat from plastic dinnerware! The men's restroom is in dire need of attention, e.g., tile work.

I am pretty hard to impress with food, but this place is absolutely DELICIOUS & exceeded my expectations. I had the potatoes, chicken sausage, croissant French Toast, omelette, & chicken wings all family style shared portions and it was perfect. Seasoned just right and made with care and exceptional chef skills. I plan to come back to try the waffles & sweet potato pancakes. And dinner as well.Everything is made fresh and from scratch with a nice selection. 10/10 food - say no more.

Honey drizzled chicken wings were so good they brought tears to my eyes. The sides were perfectly sized to the wing serving.

Have been waiting to try this place since the Greek place closed as it was one of my favorite stops in the desert. Finally popped in this weekend and having some mixed feelings on my returning. Doesn't look like they did too much to update the space but was cute nonetheless. Looks like the space that used to be grocery store up front is now storage (maybe not the grocery store, apologies if I'm incorrect). While we were waiting to be seated I peeked into the partially curtained-off area when I heard what I thought was a dog barking. Inside was a large bag of dog food. Hopefully no dog inside the kitchen areas (look, I love dogs. But inside a commercial kitchen is not ok). So we continued to wait and we're seated. One couple was leaving and a four-top and two-top were already seated. Kind server made her way over to greet us (note, she was sitting and playing with her phone while we were waiting to be seated and someone else seated us??). Told us some recommendations and how to order. We took a few more moments and finally placed our order. Got the Two Can Play That Game and ordered the following: 1. Croissant French Toast - superb. So flavorful and delicious we really don't need syrup. Would get again. 2. Sweet Potato Pancakes - also great. Texture and flavor was great. No syrup or butter needed. Will be trying the recommended corn pancakes the next time I try. 3. Potatoes with onion and bell peppers. Delicious. Only complaint would be that the portion is disproportionately smaller than the two items we ordered above. 4. Originally ordered a chicken sausage. They came out about 30 minutes after we ordered to tell us they didn't have any. So we switched to grits. I've never been a grits fan so I'm a bit biased when I say I didn't care much for it. BUT that is much better than my typical review of grits - which is "I'll never eat it again." So for the grits connoisseur, it's probably great. As all the other commenters state, the wait for the food is NOT acceptable. It probably took close to an hour for the food to come out. I tried to let the server save face by asking, "is the wait for the food typical?" Followed with "so if we were to come when the restaurant is very busy, the wait would be much longer" her responses were (respectively) "yes. We make our food to-order" and "yes. Very long wait" in a completely nonplussed, and unfazed look. So if you'd like to eat some delicious food but wait a VERY long time, this place is for you. But if you're in a rush, look elsewhere.

This is a welcome addition to restaurant choices in the Palm Springs area. The staff and the food are amazing. The service was attentive and everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. Le Petit will definitely be on our regular rotation for breakfast and soul food. Best catfish I have ever had. So happy they are here.

I give their food a five PLUS. Six of us went on a thursday evening to experience Miss Traecy's Soul Food, the evening restaurant offering at Le Petite Dejuener venue. OH MY! SUCH GOOD FOOD! The restaurant was very clean. Minimum decor, but comfortable. The service (our waiter and staff) were very friendly and welcoming. It was a pleasure to have them serve us. Regarding the food: The Shrimp and Grits - perfectly cooked large shrimp in super-creamy grits. Our table companion said it was the best grits ever (we all had "best ever" reactions to our meals). The cold slaw has a fabulous taste and I wish I knew what they put into it to make it so tasty...I want t he recipe!! Their cold slaw spoiled us for any cold slaw we may have in the future. Four of our party had the full size ribs (not the rib tips..another option), There were 4 large juicy ribs per plate. They had a lively, delicious, easy going sauce that let the rib meat be the star of the show. Perfectly cooked! And the Mac and Cheese was, we again agreed, was one of the best ever eaten. So there you have it: we read the previous reviews, were not sure what we would experience. What we DID experience was delightful friendly staff that loved serving us, and food that was the best southern cooking we have experienced in the greater Palm Springs area.
