The restaurant is clean and well run. My server was quick and efficient. The food was tasty, and well prepared. I had the fried tofu and the vegetable lo mein. The lo mein noodles were excellent. This was my first visit and I will return. Great Chinese food.
We tried New Fortune for the first time last night. Great first impression!! We ordered online through Door Dash. The food was delicious and arrived exactly as ordered. The entrees were hot and we felt the portions were large. Definitely had leftovers!! I would highly recommend it for anyone looking for Chinese food in South Palm Springs or Cathedral City!
This place is a hidden gem. Call ahead to see if they’re making the Egg Foo Yung. It’s great. I met a guy there waiting to pick up his order and he told me he drives 10 miles for it. Also ask ahead for their fresh spring rolls. (Not on menu). Also excellent. Don’t miss the Mongolian Beef. Very nice married couple own it and do all the cooking.
