Chef Adam from SmokeyLips served us Brisket, Tri-Tip, Pork Sausage, Pork Ribs, Dino Ribs, and they were all excellent. Barbeque sauce was also on-point.
Me and my guests are from the Kansas City area, so are familiar with world-class barbeque, and this was up there with the best.
Absolutely the B E S T BBq!!! Just got the smoked pork making sandwiches!!! So Delicious!!!!
If you want the most delicious brisket you need to try Smoky Lips in Indio/Cathedral City. I went to the Barrel, Bites, and Beer Fest in Banning and got a brisket slider that was to die for. The brisket slider on a soft bun with a dill pickle slide was so tender, flavorful, and paired with one of the best potato salads I've ever tasted. I can't wait to try their other products!
I recently hosted a dinner party to celebrate the milestone birthday of my friend, Barbara … and by milestone, this birthday was 75 stone … plus a few extra miles. So, Barbara says to me, she says, “I hear Smokey Lips Bar-B-Que is really good” and, of course, that meant “I want Smokey Lips for my birthday, and I want you to host a dinner party for 10 friends!”. I knew exactly what she meant … and who am I to deny a 75-plus-year-old friend a wish on her birthday? So, I called. I am SO happy I did!Owner | Chef Adam Morales provided excellent and QUICK communication! He truly had me excited even before I saw the menu to place my order. MAN was he patient! I must have asked Chef Morales 1,000 questions and he never became impatient; he always sounded like he was smiling on the phone. I work in guest services and have for over 40 years, so I can safely say that he “Had me at Hello”!Chef Morales arrived at my door early; it was so easy to match the friendly voice I heard on the phone with the friendliest face in the room, and he even had his friendly, clean, and very well-behaved pup riding shotgun in his delivery van, and this van was spotlessly clean!The packaging of his product alone was totally remarkable! I was so afraid that the food would need to be reheated, as I arranged delivery for half an hour prior to the arrival of my guests. Thanks to great, insulated packaging and hot boxes inside the delivery van, the selected meats and sides were steaming when opened!Smokey Lips’ 100% Wood-fired and smoked meats were all completely divine! Handcrafted smoking, marinading, and grilling led to the most delicious and tender barbeques meats I have had served in the desert to this date – and I am WILD about bar-b-que and have tried every outlet around! Exceedingly tender prime brisket, dino beef ribs, pulled pork and pork ribs, sausages, and chicken - even the Chef-crafted bar-b-que sauce served on the side - were absolutely delicious! The sides we ordered were each as fabulous as the next!I remember being apprehensive when I placed my order as I needed to feed ten very hungry guests! I was so surprised by the amount of fantastic food that arrived – all my guests were completely sated and smiling at the end of the dinner, and enough food remained that several guests took some home – and I continued to feast myself for the next two days! Seriously, each of us was WILD about the results!If you seek delicious bar-b-que prepared professionally by a friendly and deeply knowledgeable Chef, Smokey Lips is for you! The food was amazing, and Adam was awesome to work with. We catered in bbq for our wedding, and wow was it tasty. We had brisket, pulled pork, ribs, sausage links, bbq beans, Mac n cheese, and corn bread, and everything was exactly what we hoped for. He was on time and kept great communication, and we appreciated that a bunch. I would definitely recommend Adam!
Best quality bbq I've ever had. I've traveled from North OC several times to get some of this amazing BBQ. I've had my Thanksgiving and Xmas dinners catered. Does not disappoint.

we absolutely love love love smokey lips bbq. I get the family tray and make so many meals out of it since every single item is so friggin tasty. The desserts and cornbread are heavenly. I will admit i am so picky about what/where i eat and this bbq is my absolute favorite in the entire coachella valley and would highly recommend them. Been going back for months and will be a loyal client

We ordered one and half lbs of brisket+1/4 lb of sausage for $51.11.Picked up from his house and was so disappointed. The brisket has not a tiny hint of Smokey flavour, never mind any ‘pink’smoke rings. The brisket was stewed in either a slow cooker or a pressure cooker for too long that there is not much meat flavour left in it.He didn’t even think to put a few drops of liquid smoke or torch the top of the meat to get a fake burnt crust to at least be able to fool his customers. Adam, pls do not try to fool any Seniors just because we try to pay cash, we may be senile but our tastebuds had so many more years to become more refined so we know what true smoked barbeque is!!!

Adam…where r the ‘pink‘smoke rings and why is there not even a slight hint of Smokey flavour? Did u forget to put a few drops of liquid smoke and also torch the crust of the brisket? You stewed the brisket too long…no flavour left. Don’t try to cheat on Seniors anymore,some of us do have more refined tastebuds. $51.11 for one and half lb brisket+a sausage link from grocery store? Shame on u young man!!
