Very good food here. I mean everything. I rate service and atmosphere 4 stars dose not mean they are bad, just mean comparing to luxury resort, it is not that good.

Several visits now, and haven't had a bad plate yet. I love their refried beans. The southwest omelette is really good and their gravy is definitely my favorite restaurant gravy so far. Also fresh squeezed orange juice is a winner.

Delicious authentic Chilaquiles plate, they also serve fresh squeezed orange juice. Cute little spot with limited seating but plenty when we walked in and great customer service to make it a 5 star experience. I will definitely be back!

This diner holds a special place in my heart, as it's been a family favorite since I was a kid. While everything on the menu is top-notch, my absolute go-to breakfast order remains the country fried steak smothered in rich gravy, crispy home fries, and perfectly cooked over-medium eggs - it never disappoints! This beloved spot will forever be my local diner, a comforting constant in my life.

I used to come here very often but won’t be returning. Something in the business changed and it is not the same as it was before. There’s a lot of new faces when it comes to staff. I had my order taken by a waitress in a green shirt who was very awkward and a little forgetful. I had asked for a slice of apple pie and never got it even though the pastries were right in front of me. When she appeared again, it was with the check while I was eating. I thought this was very rude and had never had it happened to me there before, I would usually ask for the check once I was done. To make it worse, my card kept declining which I don’t blame them, my card has been having issues but was able to fix that issue. I usually leave a tip and ask for a refill on my coffee but not this time. The French toast I ordered came with a piece of herb on top??? I thought it was weird. The French toast was also a bit harder than usual. This is my opinion based on my experience, I’m sure someone else will think otherwise. Another thing, parking is somewhat difficult to find and you’ll most likely have to park across the street.
Lastly, someone who may be the owner, can be heard very clearly asking the employees who has paid and who hasn’t paid. I’m pretty sure everyone could hear them putting the customers on blast.

Great little hole in the wall. Doesn’t try and re-invent the wheel. Lots of food choices though. Service was reasonable. Seems like they have a lot of local regulars.

It had been a long time since we had been to the Sunshine Cafe. I had a bit of a hard time deciding whether I wanted breakfast or lunch. I narrowed it down to three things and then to two. One was breakfast and one was lunch. There was a couple things about the menu that seemed odd to me. One was the fact that they had Pancake combo's without eggs. So it was pancakes with bacon for like $15.99. If you wanted the banana Pancake with it they charge additional $2.75. Then if you wanted eggs with it it would be $17.95 plus the $2.75 more to get it with the banana Pancake I wanted to try. Nope, $21.00 for Pancake and eggs. So my second opinion was the French dip. Under sandwiches it said you could pick a side like French fries. Under the description of the French dip it said it came with fruit. The wouldn't honor that. They said I wasn't suppose to get fries and fruit. I didn't want to argue what was clearly written (I should of taken a picture) so I ordered the French dip. My husband ordered the Cajun Chicken Sandwich. As for my five year old I ran into the same issue with the combos. Micky Pancake with bacon $9.50. When I asked about eggs she suggested I could spend the $17.95 and order a regular combo. That is too expensive for a kid that is going to eat a couple bites of an egg, one Pancake at best and no bacon. She did compromise and give us the one Pancake and eggs on the the side, no bacon for the $9.50 price. So the breakdown. My husband that his sandwich was good. My daughter's Pancake was ok. It a a bit dry, especially at the Mickey ears. Eggs were meh. My sandwich was not great. One whole half was damp because it was sitting on a bed of lettuce so I didn't even eat that half. The other half was fair, but I would not get it again.
My husband and I both agree that the fries were the star of the meal. My husband said if he could rate the fries he would give them a 5 out of 5 lol I really have no need to go back unless my husband wants those fries again lol
