Food great service horrible. Waited 30 minutes to order. Couple sat down 10 minutes after us and also had to wait 20 minutes to order except they took there order before us. Crap Service

I had breakfast at Sunshine Cafe this morning. Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day. My ‘standard’ bacon and eggs selection was very good, except the bacon. It might be the BEST bacon I’ve had in Sequim. Now, admittedly, I haven’t eaten at every restaurant in Sequim. That might have to be my next quest. But, for now, Sunshine Cafe scores #1 on my bacon chart.

$30 for an Omelette hash brown and a water? $18 for Banana pancake? REALLY? Muffins and bake goods are not Home Made as owner claims, right out of a BOX & tap water. The owner raises his prices every few months, allot of people are NOT going coming back because of his greed.

Sunshine Cafe is a solid breakfast diner . It feels down to earth with nothing fancy except the delicious perfect food. With so many affordable food options it really stands out either way, especially with the very friendly and professional staff. They make you feel at easy to enjoy the cozy diner ambience and the beautiful French street cafe paintings on the wall. My Belgian Waffle with Fruit was fluffy and deliciously fresh as the regular American Egg Breakfast with Hash Browns and Bacon was not greasy at all and very satisfying. There were great, beautiful coffee mugs for Cappuccino and Latte as well. Again all staff is extra welcoming.

After being severely glutened years ago, I swore off eating out and have only eaten at home for my safety. Taking the leap to try Sunshine Cafe was a big deal for me - I’ve now had 4 amazing meals there with zero celiac reactions! The food somehow gets more delicious each time I’ve gone and I actually feel great after eating there. I get to feel like a normal person again, eating out with family and friends. Finally found my safe spot and I am so grateful. Thank you for considering people like me.

Positives: Cozy diner feel, good menu and reasonable prices. Food isn't super delicious but more basic and just ok.
Negatives: Had to ask for water on 100+ degree day outside, no coffee refills offered, never came by to warm up coffee, never asked if we were ok after food came. Service could be better. They are very friendly but need better follow up. Parking is always hard to find, small parking lot always full and awkward corner location.
