Trunks has a good pool table in a room separated from the bar and dance floor. The clientele and bartenders are more 'down to earth' than most gay bars. There is definitely a country vibe going on as well. Also, there are many large screen televisions which play videos and current sporting events.
This was my third visit to Trunks Cathedral City. Poor service from bar tenders each time. First trip there offered only a few patrons. No one at bar. 5 of us walked in and the bartender never acknowledged our arrival or offered service. We had to ask as we stood at the bar. Same thing each visit. Maybe because we are under 50 years of age? Not sure we will return. We all live very close by.
