Went back to Yiannis in late Dec. 2021. Very disappointed. Price was much higher. They charge everything extra, including little pita bread. Paid almost $200 for 4. Went out to look for more food after leaving YannisWill not recommend this restaurant

The store and restaurant were supposedly open according to website. We walked into the little Greek grocery and found the prices to be extremely high and random. I can buy these same items on the Internet and at other Mediterranean stores for so much less. The man came out from the kitchen and told us to call him when ready to check out and disappeared. No welcome. No how did you find us? Do you have any questions? After spending over $100 - no thank you or come again. No need to ever return, especially if you know Greek products and the prices. A major disappointment.

This place Asks any ambience, the food is mediocre....at best....meatballs were very dry, mousaka was limp and without flavor...and for all this, they charge you outrageous prices....we were a party of 8 and all agreed that it was awful..

The dining room was narrow and small and lacked a nice atmosphere, it turns out they switched the dining room and their Greek food shop because of Covid, the shop is slightly bigger but it was a more appropriate size for dining. The decorations were very basic, posters and pictures just put on the wall with thumbtacks. The back patio had a much nicer atmosphere but it was not open because it too hot in July, well over 100 degrees Fahrenheit. We both had the Lamb Gyros and in my opinion were not really Gyros. Gyros are sliced meat that is cooked on a rotating vertical spit but this lamb was clearly braised. The lamb was very tender and juicy but it severely lacked flavor and did not taste like lamb, even though it clearly was lamb. I do have to say the service was very good and very friendly but unfortunately we will not be returning.

Food was good and we liked the waitress. The other lady in there had a weird vibe. After dinner we went to the store portion to see if they had any goodies. She hovered and was watching over us/me like we were some kind of hoodlums. Based on previous reviews she is fine with having a reputation and I won't be taking her behavior personally. The effort that is taken with the food and upkeep of the shop signify that they care but the awful attitude, by who I will assume is the owner, really diminished the whole experience.

We had a great lunch on the way from the airport. Pork gyro amazing! Also recommend the spicy feta pate.Managed and served by the owners which makes the experience more homely. Not that cheap tho, at $65 for two, but worth it.

OMG!! Food was outstanding. The moussaka was the best I've ever eaten - melt in your mouth good! (Apologies to my niece who lives in Greece and made it for me on my last visit in 2019). I ate all but one last bite because I was afraid my pants would pop!! The potatoes that came with it were out of this World! All we could get out of the server was "it's a family secret, that involves infused lemon". The spanakopita we started with was excellent as well. Went back for a second time and ordered the shrimp kebob. Disappointed due to the fact they came with tails and shells on. Too much work and too messy. I would go back though and order the moussaka again!

It would have been nice to stop at this establishment but the parking lot was too small to park in. I was very disappointed.

Great food! as a person that has lived in Cypress for six years I can say that the food here is authentic. The only thing is the hostess or the old lady that's greets you is super rude and makes you feel unwelcome. Also menu would say one thing the waitress will tell you another thing and you get something else still delicious though. But if you ask how much does it come with her order and the waitresses three slices per order and it when you order if you want to get one and then the old lady told you that's how it's supposed to come. So what the menu says what the waitress says and what you actually get are three different things. But again the waitress were super nice the food came out quickly, it was fresh, hot and tasty.
