Fish&Chips and other pkat: omelette with chicken escalope and beans (I don't remember the name): well served, fresh.

Friendly waiter who was delighted to meet French people.

Negative point:
No tablecloth on all the tables inside the restaurant (the table was a bit sticky).
Cobwebs in the corners of the windows.

A charming garden setting with great service and delicious food. An unexpected pleasant surprise in a typically touristy beachside community.

Loved our time at this Cayucos restaurant, we started in the bar, a fun, lush little room. The bartender (who we found out later was also the owner) made us 2 Moscow mules that were delish! Very personable and friendly staff. We decided to go ahead and eat dinner there. Great wine list, we had the Felino Malbec. Yummy bread appetizer and then our entrees were wonderful. Ended the night with the Baileys Icecream pie! Worth a visit! The owner Marco and his whole staff are very nice and provide top notch service.

Thank you for one of the best dining experiences we had during our California Central Coast trip!

Garden is its middle name, and we enjoyed the colorful displays of beautiful flowers all around.

The food was excellently prepared and presented. Filet mignon and salmon were both perfect.

The service was pretty good. My only ‘complaint’ is the Margarita was double the regular size and they don’t water down their drinks! Ha ha, that’s probably a pro and a con.

Nice Italian place. Good options. They were willing to make adjustments which is helpful. Decent wine choices and good desserts menu. Lentil soup was good, tiramisu was alight, the baguette with oil and butter was nice. Service was slow to begin with but it caught up. If you are in town and looking for some good food and good times with family or friends, this is a good place to go. Note that they have a different lunch and dinner menus. Lunch menu is more like burgers and sandwiches. So decided to add dinner menu pictures.

Lunada's was a go to restaurant to eat good food in Cayucos, CA. We always enjoyed the food, good prices and the atmosphere. The prices were always reasonable especially for a restaurant at the beach. The service was always good too. Love the Sunday brunch and now they are open for breakfast everyday except Tuesday, when the are closed. The one thing I noticed this time is that the prices have really gone up. Post-pandemic the filet was about $32. Great price for a great steak. Unfortunately, the price is now $48. Now I know the pandemic was a while ago, but they have really raised the prices. I guess I can blame it on the horrible economy, but it seems that the prices have really went up on all of the menu items. Will have to cut down on going to Lunadas! Still love the food!!

This is a gem, the restaurant and the town, Cayucos, right at the Pacific Ocean. The food was outstanding, service great, the owner talked with us a bit. The environment, cool: the building is 1876, the garden is beautiful and large but with intimate seating and there is a front porch dinning right out front. You have to get off Hwy 1 to experience it. They have a pier across the street to meander.

This place is underrated and phenomenal! I'm amazed that this place wasn't as packed as it should be. Of course they take reservations and v they are recommended. I walked in 30 minutes before closing and not only did they accommodate they didn't skimp on the quality or service. Highly recommended. I'm coming here on my birthday for sure.

Parking: Came off-season so there was plenty of street parking.

My husband and I compare all clam chowders to The Swan Oyster House's in SF. Lunada's chowder is not too thick, not too thin. Very elegant flavor. We had appetizers and were really impressed...Oysters Rockefeller were great. They pay attention to details....butter was whipped and spreadable and the warm bread was soo good. Great service, too. Beautiful DOG FRENDLY PATIO.
