I’m a local born and raised in Cayucos- there’s ZERO vegetarian options… literally EVERY burger spot in Morro bay has a veggie option because 15% of the population doesn’t eat meat… even steakhouses carry vegetarian options… that’s 15% business lost because you don’t wanna buy some fake meat substitute… that’s sucky for my whole family.
You would think they would have done something about this by now because it was 1 PM when I went to ask About vegetarian options and when I was sitting out front for at least 15 minutes, not a single customer went in or out the entire time… Doesn’t seem like they are very busy right now, but don’t care about vegetarian options or even turning on the sign in the afternoon 😂
There are two guys in the burger shop right now working, both of them were sitting and texting on their phone when I walked in, I told them I could not tell if they were open because the sign was not on and even when I left, they still didn’t turn it on… Sounds like they don’t care about business and the workers want a slow day 😂🤣

This place has gone downhill so fast. It used to be much better during the summer months. But it’s not the same staff. Complete failure on ownership on not retaining the good ones

Absolutely horrible food at Morro Bay location. Double burger burnt to a crisp, no onions, one pickle, cheese burned, bun stale, virtually no sauce. Fries were soggy and gross. A few were still frozen. Owner really needs to check on cooks there. They have no clue. You're lucky you get tourists who don't know any better. No thanks. Foster's 💯 per cent better! So is Sammy J's , also 💯 per cent better up the street. So disappointing 😞

Burger too much bread and tasted weird maybe not so fresh. Fries so much salt. I guess I’ll just stick with Sylvester’s.

Hands down, this is the best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had, and my absolute favorite breakfast spot in Cayucos.

Came for first time a few weeks ago. First off to state the obvious, it is small, not many seats, but, the food is amazing. The burger and onion rings were delicious. The staff was friendly and the food was made pretty fast, considering how busy they already were when we visited at lunch time. If you are in the area, and like burger, definitely stop here and have 1.

It says they're open until 9 but I came at 8:20 and saw the door open. As I was entering there was two guys on their phones and one guy says we're closed.

Been waiting to try the burgers and the smash burgers have a Midwestern flavor, think Freddy's, Steak Shack, but a much better atmosphere sitting on the beach. Not very much seating, but friendly service and tasty food . . .
