tried the dumplings and wontons; they resemble what frozen dumplings/wontons you prepare at home would taste like, not bad not great. would be much better if they served actual chili oil or soy sauce. they only had a chunky salsa type chili, that didnt pair well with the food like a chili oil does imo.

I'm still waiting for my order of food, so I don't have any information about food. The service is very slow and the menu is not too flexible to get the combination plate I wanted. The combination plates don't always allow substitutions. It is a store front restaurant that faces the parking lots at the Cerritos Mall. Next time I have to get service on my car at the auto square; I will ask for a shuttle here,so I can wait on my food instead of waiting on my car!
Just got my order and the food is tasty. I probably won't go back again. The place isn't that great and not a stop for a quick bite.

The place is clean and vibrant but I was not greeted for about 5 mins. I had a pick up order to be ready in 10mins, and I had to wait 30mins wasting the majority of my lunch break. They did not communicate properly about the wait or check in with me, let alone offer anything to drink while I wait like most places. Lastly, although the food tasted good, the dumpling were falling apart before I even got to them. Would not recommend this location.

The staff Brittney is always rude. when I realize she working I'll leave or make sure she has nothing to do with my order. I asked for my meat from the pork chop with braised too be cut smaller sizes. Brittney states if corporate see your plate online then will yell at us. I usually aswell as coworkers go into the city of industry location about three times a week.

They never pick up the phone. Tried calling many times to order because somehow their credit card portal gives an error when I tried to pay. And it isn't my credit card issue for sure.

Update 7/27: it seems they saw my review about not picking up the phone, and they do pick it up now, so I'm giving a 4 star rating from the 3 star. Food is pretty decent, and they have good prices for the combos.

Awesome dumplings, crispy and fresh. Does not take that much time. Welcoming interior design. Good spot to stop by when you visit the mall.

This here are freshly made dumplings and they are tasty. For the price that one is paying and the flavorful food, this place is a bargain. It is not accessible from the inside of the Cerritos Mall. It is in the Macy’s side of the mall from the street side.

Asian merienda (snack) spot

Bafang Dumpling opened at Los Cerritos Center. Unfortunately, I couldn't attend the Grand Opening & partake of the freebies. Fortunately, though, I have Bafang Dumpling for whenever I want some Asian food to munch on.

I've heard people rave about their Hot and Sour soup, so Combo #1 (12 Signature Potstickers & choice of soup/drink) checked off the boxes of Bafang's best.

Signature Potstickers-
A bit crisp on the outside, the potstickers contained just the right amount of filling to not be considered a rip-off. Of course, the more filling, the better. But, the portions were fine.

Hot & Sour soup-
Loaded Hot and Sour soup. I see why people rave about this soup. The small bowl had various ingredients, elevated with a splash of vinegar.

Speaking of vinegar, the sauce station is what makes Bafang's food pop. Black vinegar, soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic sauce & chili sauce. Combine some or all together, or dip in each one, separately. Delicious! I've also had Bafang's wonton soup, and thought the dumplings were average, at best. Frozen dumplings are about the same quality or better. Also, their Signature Noodles look Plain Jane. Personally, I would stick with their Signature Potstickers, Hot and Sour soup, and look forward to trying one of their various beef noodle soup bowls.

Service was good. Bafang Dumpling is cashless, and there was a bit of a wait. Plenty of seating inside & al dente. During the hot summer, their A/C was on blast, and I loved it! Bafang Dumpling is located on the right of Chipotle at the Los Cerritos Center, facing Gridley. No mall entrance.

When I'm looking for something to tide me over, and not a full meal, Bafang Dumpling does a fine job of fitting that role. Their Hot and Sour soup is top notch, and their Signature Potstickers, judiciously dipped in their sauce accoutrement, a good afternoon pre-dinner food combo to tide me over till dinner.

Honestly, Bafang Dumpling is a great place to come and try something new and savory every time. This is a CASHLESS restaurant, so be prepared to pull that credit/debit card out. I tried the spicy beef noodle soup and the new wontons they had, and both were great! I wasn't sure how spicy the spicy beef noodle soup would be, so the cashier/server was very helpful in offering the chili on the side, which I appreciated so much (thank you!) At first glance, the serving size is intimidating for the beef soup because the shape of the bowl is HUGE. But it's a perfect dish for 1-2 people ( 1 if you're hungry, 2 if you want to share). The beef in the soup was nice and tender, easy to eat, and break into smaller bite-sized pieces. The broth was PACKED with flavor, and the green onion was a great addition to the dish. And of course, the noodles were not too thick and absorbed a lot of the broth's flavor. The wontons were crispy and not at all greasy, which was great because it balanced out with the soup. They were about 6-7 (don't remember the exact amount) and were bite sized. They came with a sweet sauce dip on the side and were nice to eat in between having my noodle soup. I've added pictures to help. I would rate this place a solid 10/10. Service was great, the environment is relaxing and chill, they give you a little beeper that alerts you when your food is ready to pick up, and they have condiments you can choose to take with you like soy sauce, sesame oil, asian chili, and black soy sauce, in these little to-go ramekins next to the condiment table.
