The service rep was nice and good matcha cookie
delicious, friendly staff and the value is good compared to other places in Cerritos.
Beard Papa’s in Cerritos is hands down one of my favorite dessert spots. After years of always driving out to the one in Gardena and finding out there is a Cerritos location local to me I had to stop on by and it did NOT disappoint. The cream puff was made fresh to order, so the shell was perfectly light with a pleasant crunch, with different fillings you can choose from and if you're a fan of lighter cream you can definitely ask for 1 pump instead!
They also had a great selection of other flavors, which made it hard to choose. The classic vanilla custard is always a safe go-to—rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced. The chocolate custard was deep and not overly sweet, and the matcha had a nice earthy flavor that wasn’t bitter at all. I also love that you can choose different shells, like the original, or chocolate flavors and other seasonal flavors (Our personal favorite is the Strawberry and the Monster Hunter Wilds Cola flavor collab!)
The staff was friendly and efficient, even with a line, and the store was clean and well organized. You can tell they take pride in making everything fresh because nothing tasted soggy or rushed. Beard Papa’s does an awesome job with seasonal flavors and collabs, and the Cerritos location consistently delivers, it really drives home the same great flavor as the same Beard Papa's back in Japan!
If you’re a dessert fan or just want something different, this place is 100% worth stopping by. Whether you're there to get a set for yourself or a pack of 6 to share, it's a great sweet treat gift to bring to parties! I’ll definitely be back for future collabs and flavors.
I love it! It’s the best. I don’t go anywhere else.
I received this as a gift from a friend. There was a wide variety of flavors and it was good!
Japan vs. LA Beard Papa’s!
I’m Japanese and love Beard Papa’s, so I tried the LA shop to compare. The cream puff here is a bit crispier and the filling is slightly sweeter than in Japan. My favorite was the Chocolate Éclair Vanilla — super tasty and worth trying. LA’s version is definitely a fun stop!
Been a big fan of Beard Papa for many years, so I was glad to see and hear that there was a Cerritos location! The cream puffs are always so good and I love that there’s always new ideas in terms of flavor! Looking forward to visiting again!
When I was in Japan, I enjoyed having Beard Papa's cream puffs at the train station. To my surprise, they have locations in SoCal! The texture and taste is just as I remember it being in Japan. Japanese pastries are fire.
Really liked their flavor of the month.
The cookie butter puff was amazing, and the team was working super hard to make my ordered items!
If you've been to the San Diego or Irvine branches, you won't doubt why I only gave it three stars.

got a mango cream puff for 5$: hard, dry, unpuffy crust. mid to below average filling. other puffs were much better. most importantly, the puff was pathetically small.
Store smelled like pee! Guy at the counter was rude. Didnt greet or offer to help. Horrible customer service.
DELICIOUS!! I got the green tea cream puff. The lady that helped me steered me in the right direction through my indecisiveness. I’ll definitely be back when I have the extra calories to burn!
The food was good, got a mash cream puff :) customer service was a bit awkward.
I really love their cream puffs. They have great flavors to choose from as well as fillings and are worth trying. It can get a little busy at times, so please give the staff some patience and they'll take care of you. I tried some of their minis last time that I visited, and looking forward to trying out more.
