I was in the Artesia area today and suddenly craving for Korean cheese dog. Chunghun is right around the corner on South St. It is a small little shop merged with Mochinuts. Sweet and Savory all in one place. You can order your food through the cashier and once the order is ready they will call your order number on the receipt. I order the basic mozzarella half ( with half hot dog) . There is defiitely crispiness, I ate it super fresh and hot right when it came out. but still not impressive. The prices is fair for $4.50. I've had better cheese dog in the past. I might give another item a chance when If I do return.

After this place merged with Mochinut, it is not good. If you are craving Myungrang Hotdog style Korean corn dogs, I strongly suggest you drive 15 minutes to the one at the Source rather than having them here. I came here frequently when they opened but was thoroughly disappointed today. -Dough- extremely floury, almost underdone? I had some bits with uncooked batter. The Korean corn dog is special because they use rice flour, but this is the flouriest, doughiest, breadiest "Korean" corn dog I've ever had. NOT true to the Korean corn dog at all. -Flavors- they don't automatically add the sugar which is trademark of the Korean corn dog. The half/half and potato were very underwhelming. The Hot Cheetos corn dog was also so oily and inedible. All in all, hard pass. The employees were courteous enough but the tables were very dirty and not maintained. Do yourself a favor and go to Myungrang (the OG in Korea) or get the frozen ones at H-Mart.

You can order online for takeout now so it's super convenient. Recommend adding sugar!

Overall, I really like this place. Before Covid, I came here alone a lot to have a quick bite between classes. My favorite is the potato mozzarella one! Add a little sugar, and eat it with spicy mayo. Super delicious and crunchy. Today I tried the hot cheetos with mozzarella and a Thai tea. Thai tea was decent, can't really go wrong with it. At first bite, the hot cheetos was pretty good! As I continued to eat through it, I got more and more tired of the taste and had to push through just to finish it. I wish that the cheetos were crunchier or had more of the typical flavor. Oh well, it was worth a try!

I wanted to grab some Korean corn dogs to pair with my tteokbokki but didn't want to drive too far. So I came across Chung chun that was surprisingly very close to the tteokbokki spot I was at! The Santa decoration for Christmas was cute and overall the staff and environment was nice! I would give the corn dogs at 4/5. They had a good variety of selections and I was very intrigued about the ramen corn dog since I've never seen it at other Korean corn dog places I've been to. The hot Cheetos was definitely my favorite and I would come here again!

Good place for Korean rice hotdogs. I've mainly had the Korean rice hotdogs from Myungrang and wanted to give Chungchun a try. I came by on a weekday afternoon and it wasn't too busy. The hotdogs came out pretty quickly after ordering and it was packaged in a nice box. There were quite a number of people there ordering mochi donuts as well. I got the ramen crusted hot dog, cheddar supreme, hot Cheetos mozzarella, and half and half mozzarella/hot dog. For all of them it ended up being around $20. They were solid hotdogs, but they weren't as good as Myungrang in my opinion. I would come back if I was nearby and really craving it, but would choose Myungrang over Chungchun.

This is a great small little joint to get your Korean/Asian Fusion Hot Dogs! You're going to look at the prices and you're going to be wondering... why spend 5 bucks on something that looks like a corn dog when you can totally get a whole box of it at your nearest QFC? Well, this is not your ordinary dog! The deliciousness wrapped around fluffy and crunch breaded goodness... what more can you ask for? I also have to give a shout out to the staff. He was so friendly when I walked in, it really took me by surprise for a second. He asked how my day was and seemed really genuine and friendly.

the dough is not good at all, it has a funky sour taste to it. This says a lot cause you really can't make fried cheese taste bad, but this was pretty bad!!

Dont waste your time, money or your mouth. Just not tasty. They put waaaaayyyy tooooo much sugar in the teas and the corn dog batter. I think.... they think once we get them hooked on the sugar we got em..... i had the cedder chese corn dog.... how could they mess that up???? They managed it!!! I had the peach green tea. When i say Sugggggaaaaarrrrr i mean that. Just loaded with it. I asked for a cup of ice water and tipped a little of the "insulin trigger juice" into my ice water..... then it started to taste like something tastyful but I wasted $3.95.

Absolutely the worst customer service possible. If you're going to be in the service industry, under you will get an attitude from customer regardless. In this case, if your cashier has failed to listen when the customers told you multiple times to how make change...it tells them you were not listening or you are ignorant of basic math. Regardless, service is key...it's ok to tell the customer when they are wrong...but absolutely no reason for bad attitude! Just lost my business, from now on...I'm going next door.

Not bad. But not impressive either. I see these things all over ig so I wanted to see if it was all hype. I had a great experience over all. Not complaining. But was it worth coming back for? Nah. But that's just me. Off top, the place was clean, covid safe and the staff is super cool. I really appreciate good service. Now, back to the dawgs lol I ordered the mozzarella and sausage one and the one with potatoes. Both were good. Super crunchy and I can tell they were made fresh. After a few bites, it just feels like I'm not eating tea food. Just chewing on dough. Not much sausage but that's ok because the crunch makes up for it. My party really enjoyed the hot Cheetos covered ones. Those were the real winners. They messed up my order and gave me the wrong corn dog. I didn't realize until later because the half/half is at the bottom. By the time I realized, I'm almost full. So even though they made it right, I can't fit anymore. So I gave it away. Price? It was about $25 for 6 dogs. Not bad. In conclusion, they look cute on insta, but after a few bites, it's too much to just chew on. Not much. Won't be back but glad I tried it. Thanks guys.
