The place was very packed and it seemed like management was only interested in seating people rather than helping the servers and waitress. The food had varying serving sizes and cut sizes and any marinated meats were severely lacking in any marination or flavor. Only positive I can say is the variety, the price and our server was trying her best.

We always come to this location & typically have a great experience, so we decided to come for lunch. Unfortunately, it wasn't that great of a visit. It took a while to get the water that we ordered before we even ordered our first round. Then it just took forever to get basically anything we asked for whether it was a fork or food. I asked for sides 3 times before I eventually got it, ordered soup & when it finally came he said it just came out yet the tofu was falling apart & it wasn't even hot. I completely understand it was busy, but I've been here on a Friday night & received better service.

We arrived just as they barely opened at 11 a.m. We ordered an appetizer, but it never arrived. The rice didn’t come until almost 12:30. The service was very slow—like the grill plates, which had to be changed four times because they were burnt. You can see how slow both the service and food were. We would never recommend this place. It was a very disappointing Korean dining experience.
WORST GEN IVE EVER BEEN TO, WILL NEVER GO BACK! shittiest service and to have to pay $35 I definitely did not get my moneys worth. I kept having to ask for my meats/orders. I would have to call her over but every time she just kept telling me I input the order to the kitchen and not to mention my “hot” food as in the cooked foods came out SO COLD including my desserts which was super disappointing. Somethings I never even received them. At that point I was ready to leave without saying a word. Even for the bill she took a good 20 min until I decided to get up and pay upfront myself. I am very disappointed and upset with my overall visit here. Gen in Cerritos do better, I highly recommend Gen in West Covina !

The services was bad. We had asked what we wanted and had to ask the person for it a few time. First time going there had high hopes. But if you want mediocre food with high price this is your place. Also be careful the floor was wet and slippery . Seen the moment you walked all the way into the restroom.

The place itself is great with good quality meats, but portions are super tiny. Parking is a nightmare during busy hours. The biggest issue was the service—it was absolutely horrible. Our waitress vanished after seating us, and even though the place was half-empty, no one checked on us. We had to ask for things multiple times, and food just wouldn’t come out. Honestly, you’re better off going to Red Palace down the street. It may not be as fancy, but the service is 100 times better.

One of the worst dining experiences ive had, our waitress disappeared and never came back to our table, not once were we checked up on, we had to wave down staff to get refills on basically everything, and after our 2nd round of food from the “all you can eat” the kitchen was closed without any warning so we were unable to get anywhere close to our money’s worth. Additionally the music was so loud we were having to yell to have conversation. Genuinely the worst place to get korean barbecue
