After trying other locations, I found that the drinks here did not have the same quality or presentation as the other locations. The store is well decorated and cute with its cherry blossom trees. I placed an order through the website and came in early for the pickup. Near the door, there was a grub hub order pick-up station on the right side. I didn't see another visible pickup station so I waited at the entrance. After checking in with the staff there was some confusion on my order. I did get it sorted but when I got my drink right away I knew the quality of the drink was incorrect based on the appearance. The drink normally comes with brown sugar around the sides of the cup which was not there. The milk tea tasted more like a London fog than a black milk tea. Overall the drink was watery and was missing the sweetness and brown sugar around the cup.

Nice friendly staff at this location. They freshly brew their tea and have many options to choose from. I got a black milk tea and can really taste the flavor of the tea. You can adjust the sweetness which I did to 25% and it was perfect. The recommended sweetness here is 50%. Little seating inside, but they also have little seating outside. You can order from 2 kiosk machines or from the register. Drinks come out pretty fast!

As someone who loves gong cha, this location really disappoints me. They are extremely unorganized which is a clear sign that the management is bad. In addition, the place is not clean. I have sat there and my eyes start burning after a couple hours. The tables are always sticky and things are always dirty. The drinks are mediocre at best. In addition, I know this place has cockroaches in the back. I have personally seen these cockroaches crawl on the floor as I have sat there. Gong Cha chooses to not take accountability as they continue to delete the negative reviews. If they delete this review I will post it on TikTok and Instagram where it will reach a wider audience. Response to business owner Dara: Dara, I have never received such a response from a management/business owner from a negative review or complaint which I find extremely unprofessional. To assume that I am one of your former ex employees is apalling. I hope you do not go around accusing people who leave negative reviews on your store as "bad ex employees" as a way to excuse a customer's experiences at your store. The main point of my review is to let you know that your store isn't upholding to a basic standard. I have visited your store many times with friends in hopes that it would be as good as other Gong Cha locations and its not. If your response is how you respond to normal yelp reviews, you shouldn't have a yelp at all as you cannot handle any criticism. Calling a customers review BASELESS rather than taking accountability is a reflection of you and your business, further proving my point. I am not going to engage further with you or your unaccountable responses. I wish you the best in maintaining your business.

Tip: The manager verified that the Yelp check-in coupon is not eligible at this location. They recommended downloading their app for a good discount. Parking: There's a good size of available parking. It's easy to find parking. They have a cute exterior patio set for people to drink outside. When I came in, the interior felt stuffy. Not sure if the A/C was broken. Panda Milk Tea (milk tea, boba and agar jelly): Tastes good, very straightforward as what you would get with the ingredients.

After yelp reviews thought to try out Gong Cha for the first time. We are simple tea drinkers who enjoy the flavors of teas so when I ordered the straight green tea with no add ons I wasn't disappointed in its authentic flavors. Great base tea for other drinks. The other drink ordered was the winter melon tea. This drink was weak in flavor but was refreshing. Outdoor seating is a plus and staff was helpful in placing our order. Orders thru Yelp even get a discount!. Only minor suggestion... get an outdoor trash receptacle

Anisa, Jojo & Rozana are currently working right now and their customer service is ABOVE & BEYOND!!! Caitlyn is also here and she has been helping me decide what drink I wanted and knew the entire menu as well! I thought she also worked here. She needs to be hired! Their energy is so contagious. This is my first time here and my friend and I both got drinks and they are so good. I'm obsessed with the heart cup you can get, of course I got one! Thank you ladies for being so funny and sweet and making me laugh. I'm going to be back here often now! I got the Passionfruit green tea with no boba. The look here is everything. They also have good stuff to eat & have WiFi so you can study here.

I love how cute they are valentines cup is, and the drink is delish! I met the owner who happens a to be Cambodian, what are the odds of meeting more Cambodian small business in Long Beach? Just jk, the odds are high to meet Cambodian, but family owned business must be supported! Also, the owner is very friendly and kind to explained the procedure of different flavors. She's helped us take some group photo in her nicely decorated store! Service this is great! Drinks are quick and delicious! There's are 4 recommended flavors for the valentines cups (passion fruits, taro, strawberry, and the other flavor you need to find out yourself lol) Btw the valentines cups brought me and my friends a lot of laughter!

I came to try out the special promotion heart shaped valentine drinks. They come in these cute little heart shaped cups. It definitely was funny way to drink boba especially if you don't use the straw. I got all four special flavors and would say they were all good. 25% sweetness hit the spot and gong cha always has some of the best tastes.
