This place has been on my radar for over a year! I've been following them on ig, and they had me drooling every time they came on my feed. Finally, I was able to stop by today. It wasn't clear if they had a build your own bowl, so I ordered a bear bowl off the menu. The coconut base was very sweet, and honestly, it kind of ruined the bowl for me. Good amount of toppings and was able to modify the bowl as much as I wanted. I would get something else the next time. Wasn't bad, just didnt live up to my expectations. Maybe next time..

Hands down the best spot to get açaí bowls. I’ve been to several places and this is the best acai I’ve had. They have plenty of options to build your own or order one of their specials.

grubhub driver said that the coffee i ordered was handed to him in a plastic bag (?). he asked for something more secure and claims that island bodega didn't give him anything. so naturally the coffee spills in the bag. i got only a fraction of the refund deserved from Grubhub but can't contact them because they already issued a refund even though it's too small for some reason. tried calling island bodega and went straight to voicemail so i can't help them remedy this problem. you just lost a lifetime customer

I will no longer be supporting this place,,,I was trapped in their restroom earlier tonight for over an hour due to a broken door handle and door. Such a terrible feeling. There was no sense of urgency to get me out. Felt very angry after.
I love this restaurant so much. I've been multiple times. The food is so delicious! They have all the options and choices and the quality is high! Seriously recommend to anyone!!
