This place is incredible! I’ve only ever had katsu sandos from Japan at local convenience stores (Family Mart & 7-11), they were delicious however they weren’t super fresh and weren’t crispy due to having to be microwaved. I wanted a taste of Japan so sought out some Katsu sandos and landed here. It far exceeded my expectations. I got the Rosemary Katsu Sando with Spicy Mayo. The chicken was audibly crispy and fresh, the bread nice and soft, and the spicy mayo was the perfect level of spice and the perfect compliment to the sandwich. I got a side of waffle fries which were arguably the best waffle fries i’ve ever had, they were perfectly crispy and had a light seasoning that gave them an amazing taste and set them apart from the waffle fry competition. Nice portions on the sando however it’d be nice to fit in some more fries. I had a bite of one with berry sauce and it was too sweet for my liking but still good, i’ll be sticking with the spicy mayo (or maybe try the baja chipotle sauce). I wish they had more drink options such as homemade lemonade.Katsu Bar: 9.6/10

Nice location to grab your favorite katsu dish. This location has specials daily during the week, which are great deals. The restaurant is very clean and well appointed. It is small. It seems most orders are take out. Perhaps for that reason it seemed the service was slower. But I will say that my food was cooked to order and served hot and super crispy!Definitely a great place to grab or take away a quick and yummy lunch for a great deal!

Stopped here at 2 PM for late lunch. You self order off of the two counter top tablets. 3 different kinds of katsu meat to choose from - beef, pork, and chicken. We got the curry katsu chicken plate and a 6 piece shrimp tempura appetizer. The appetizer was only $6 and was hot and delicious. Good sized shrimp. But... no real tempura dipping sauce. Instead they have a garlic aioli dipping sauce. But my wife doesn't eat garlic!! So we dipped the shrimp in the curry sauce. The chicken katsu plate was delicious. It's all breast meat, cooked to perfection and served piping hot. The plate included a cabbage salad, arugula salad, and macaroni salad. Loved them all and hats off to them for not drenching the Mac salad in mayonnaise. We will be back.

This place is really good! I got the rosemary katsu sando, fried chicken, and yuzu drink. The sandwich is very typical, with katsu and cabbage in between, but I really liked the fried chicken since it's crunchy and flavorful. Will definitely recommend for people who enjoy katsu.

Got the Rosemary Katsu Sando with berry sauce & katsu curry with beef! It was soooo good. Exceeded my expectations! I went when the sando was $10 during their daily specials & it's definitely worth it. The quality & flavor is fantastic. I was hesitant to get the berry sauce but it surprisingly paired well together. The curry was styled in a bento box & had many sides - salad, mac salad & pickled veggies. The curry tasted very seasoned & good. I am definitely coming back here!

so i use to come here once a week just for the strawberry sandos. I order and come to pick up. and the size of the sandwich is literally almost half of what it use to be. WTHhh ! Yet they now add a service charge ? I asked the guy. He said he didn't speak English. I'm hella disappointed. I won't be coming back here anymore. ?

I was in the area looking for a new foodie spot & found this place. After sampling their items I understood why they're so popular! This is now one of the best Japanese sandwich spots, hands down! Food is very delicious & service is quick, will be coming back with friends. Pros: Quick service, clean restrooms. Best to order online then pickup. Cons: Parking is horrible given the multiple businesses nearby

First time having a Sando sandwich and I’m glad I had it here! It was a delicious Katsu chicken sandwich and a katsu chicken burger that me and my family enjoyed along with our fries! Definitely come here to try their sandwiches and hope to try their strawberry sando the next time I am in town!

Went here for the first time and we were pretty disappointed. We tried the black garlic udon, black garlic ramen and sausage tokboki. The broth of the black garlic udon was terrible, didn't even taste like any recognizable udon broth. The ramen black garlic broth was also not very good as it was overly salty with not a great flavor. The worst part though was the ramen noodles. They were disgusting. Mushy, mushy, mushy with weird flavor that a normal noodle should have. Then one of us got chicken and the other pork. Both meats were over cooked, hard and dry. Not appealing to eat. Unfortunately both soups went to waste and all we ate was the sausage tokboki which was fine but not great. Tasted like tok in spicy bbq sauce with minimal sausage slices. Would definitely not order from here again. Not to mention it's expensive for a small portion.
