This place has a band on the weekends, fri & sat. The filipino food was delicious! I loved the crispy pata, pork sinigang, & pancit bihon. Would definitely come back here for the food!

Last night, my partner and I went out to eat and decided to try a dish called dinakdakan. However, we were surprised to find that it was made with liempo (pork belly), which was unexpected. While the cream or sauce in the dinakdakan was actually quite good, this was the first time I’ve ever encountered a version of it that used liempo as the main meat. It didn’t really taste like the traditional dinakdakan I know.
I also ordered chicken tinola, but unfortunately, it didn’t taste good at all. It was very different from the usual tinola I’m used to, and I was honestly disappointed with it. The only dish I truly enjoyed that night was the beef caldereta—that one was flavorful and cooked just right. Even the rice they served was hard and not properly cooked, which made the meal less enjoyable.
To make things worse, the music at the place was extremely loud—it felt like my eardrums were about to burst. It was hard to enjoy the food and have a conversation because of the noise. Overall, it wasn’t the best dining experience, but at least the caldereta saved the night a little.

Don’t get me wrong, the food is EXCELLENT, service is great, but damn, I almost became deaf because their band/sound system/drums are too loud. Jesus Christ, my poor eardrums. We would honestly come back here every 2 weeks or even every week coz I love Filipino food and I don’t like to cook on Fridays, but my ears need 2 to 3 months to recover from that misery. Does the band know the restaurant owner? Coz we complained before and nothing happened. The owner doesn’t care how much damage it does to our ears. The band doesn’t know how to set up the sound system coz we can actually hear the feedback but they still kept going. Some restaurants have bands and sound great, not like this, god have mercy.

My husband and I has lunch at Kusina Filipina today. It was our first time and we were surprised how generous the serving was. He ordered Crispy Dinuguan while I ordered Lechon Kawali. The whole experience was excellent. Food was amazing and the staff were very accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. Will definitely visit again.

First time visiting this part of Ca and friends took us here.
Wife is Filipino and said this is by far the best Filipino food she has ever ordered in a restaurant.
We ordered the fried platter and my wife was in heaven. We all ate to much lol. I'm not a big fan of some of the food but the clean plate picture posted was mine:).
Great place. Definitely on our go to list when we come back this side.

Food was pretty good. Chicken adobo was probably the favorite. Portions were average but the prices were not. I don’t eat filipino food often but compared to other asian restaurants, the portions felt small for what we paid.
Service was average.
They play live music here, at least at the time I was arriving. Live music is nice when it compliments the atmosphere but honestly this one felt very disruptive. Was excessively loud. I guess big parties and those who appreciate filipino culture may appreciate the environment more. But if you’re looking to casually dine, I would avoid this place.
Overall, my first impressions were not good. I’d rate it like a 3/10. Would not come back. Wouldn’t even consider take-out because of the prices.

Chicken didn’t really do for me , nothing special about fry chicken. I was expecting more flavor . I was there about 4pm and it was empty. Only a few people there . I don’t think I will return to this place.

First time here. Ordered to go. Food seemed fresh. We only ordered 3 items but 2x for each.
Chicken BBQ:
10 out of 10. Good flavor. Chicken was tender.
Pancit Canton:
8 out of 10. Good flavor. Not enough for the price. Overall taste was good. Would order again.
Chicken Adobo: 6 out of 10. Didn’t have enough flavor. Was just mild overall. Not enough chicken. So was just ok.
Prices: not cheap not expensive. But the portions are small. Flavor was overall good. But they could punch it up a bit on all the dishes we had.
