I've lived in Cerritos for more than 16 years and have been coming to this location. And the service has gone down. The lady "Lesly" at the front doesn't seem to energetic nor happy to even work, and the cooks take a long time to prepare the food and I've been to different locations of L&L from Cypress, Anaheim, and Irvine.

Meat was so dry and rubbery. I ordered the Mixed BBQ plate and paid a total of $21. NOT WORTH IT!! Not only that, they only gave me 1 slice of the short ribs and 1 thinly sliced beef. I got it to go and couldn't complain to the people who cooked it. I didn't want to go back to tell them that the food is inedible, not worth my time. I'll never buy hawaiian food at this place ever again. Maybe other L&L locations are better (based on my experience) but this location is just the WORST. If I can give them zero stars I would.

False advertisement, I ordered a bowl with Chicken katsu, rice and steam veggies and they told me doesn't come with veggies, I pointed at the menu that it says it come with veggies, the lady said well the only ones they come with veggies are just 2 beef and pork I think. My co-worker ordered a plate with steam rice and she got brown one instead, the employee noticed and try to change it but the cook said just give it like that, we noticed and we ask them to switch it for steam . Anyway, we are not coming back. No wonder they just have 2 stars.

1. For seafood combo,The amount of fried fish was like a paper thin & dried.2. I added tips on my payment but on the receipt it was not indicated. How can I not recieve a perper receipt of the amount I spent?

As the years have gone by, this location just gets worse. I usually order from the Cypress or Irvine locations these days. I really like the garlic shrimp from L&L and usually order a mini plate for myself. It usually comes with 7 to 8 shrimp, one scoop of rice, and one scoop of Mac salad. Craving this tonight, I ordered the large plate, which costs $3 more from this location. I only got 8 overcooked really bad shrimp, 2 scoops of rice, and 1 scoop of Mac salad. So basically $3 extra got me only 1 extra school of rice. How is that even possible? I get 8 shrimp in a mini at Cypress and Irvine, lol. I dislike leaving bad reviews but tonight is just warranted. Dry, really fishy smelling shrimp (totally not fresh shrimp) that is the same quantity as a mini at different locations is just not ok. I will stick to the other locations

WAY OVER PRICED!!! Food taste good but the portion is small. I got the BBQ Mix plate, I got 1 thinly sliced beef. Kind of like the cut that you would get at Shabu Shabu. The girl behind the counter is very nice. Tables were dirty, I had to wipe it down my self. I looked around for a cleaner table, most of them were dirty. This place really went down from the way they use to be.
Definitely worth the drive! Everything from the lau lau to the Spam musubi was absolutely amazing! The chicken katsu was crispy and fresh! The lau lau was perfection!

I do catering deliveries and I will say I've never had a issue with the 50 plus individual meals. The owner is very thorough and catches anything missing. One of the few places that these big orders are ready when they should be.

I guess I should have read the reviews before eating here. The food was really overpriced and not very fresh tasting both times I went here. Customer service was really bad and judging by all the owners defensive responses on all the negative reviews im sure that's where all the employees learn there poor customer service.

Who asked me a couple times if I wanted to eat there and I told him yeah both times but they didn't believe it so I don't know what they did but they got me to eat there and I got a stomachache later but it wasn't because of that it's probably something else I hate it so blessed honored to be alive so watch out I hope it wasn't the chicken. Tastes great. Even if I knew it was gonna be sick. I wouldn't trip on I having the same food. Hawaiians eat like a lot.
