Tips for a busy night: Placed party of 3 on waitlist, it was anticipated to be 59-78 mins, then arrived on time to check in. The hostess asks what you want to order at the door (so be ready). Once a table opens up, you are seated and your food comes out almost immediately. Ambiance: Easy, laidback, food shared family style Food Ordered: Bulgogi Garlic Noodles Garlic Fried Chicken Wing Luv Dduk All 3 of us voted for Luv Dduk as our fav despite getting heartburn later. That is to be expected at my ripe age, but so worth it! Then the fried chicken comes in second, followed by garlic noodles. I would totally come back. Friendly staff, good food, bumpin' playlist and easy parking. What more could you ask for!

The food was very good but way overpriced!! And there were too much onions on the noodles. Like I didn't pay $30 for garlic onions. I ordered garlic noodles. I ordered a plate of fried chicken. It was very good but very greasy.

The fried chicken with beer was exactly what I needed on a Friday night right after work. The chicken was surprisingly perfectly crispy and juicy all at the same time. I also got the spicy ddukbokkee and this went really well with the chicken and beer. I also added the glass noodles into the ddukbokkee and I think that was the game changer for me.

First time here celebrating with friends! Food is great and soju is BOGO for fifty cents. Can't wait to come here again and try other things on their menu

I came here with my friends on a Thursday night, and we got seated fairly quickly. It had been a while since I had been to this location, and I believe when I came here, it was before the name of the restaurant changed from Yuppduk to Luvdduk (I find that Yupdduk was much better). My friends and I opted for the the Luv Dduk Set Menu B. For the spice, we got level 1 (mild), thinking that it would be extremely spicy, but it actually was super super super mild. I also feel like the portion sizes have decreased, but with this economy, not that much of a surprise. The rice balls were good, the salad was whatevers, and fries on the side was fine (nothing special, just fries). We got the side of Chinese noodles, and that was a good addition to the Tteok Bokki. DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THE HAPPY HOUR. They have BOGO happy hour (+50 cents) on selected soju and beers, and the soju came out to be $15 a bottle, but I guess that is average now and days for pochas. But I wouldn't say it's worth it. Also, make sure you check your bill at the end. We were charged 18% automatic gratuity despite only being a party of 4. After asking about it, they apologized and took it off the bill. There is also a special cash pricing, so if you want to save a few bucks, bring cash with you. Ambiance is nice, music is loud and can be fun with a group of friends. Overall, it was okay, not 100% sure I'd recommend/come back.

Luv DDuk Tteok-Bokki with ramen noodles! This was our first time having it and it was AMAZING! Most definitely coming back!

We had the bulgogi cheese fries and the spicy cheesy chicken (I wish this came with a side of rice btw) plus one beer and the total was $72! So the food was super tasty, the staff was very friendly but the prices were a bit pricey to say the least. Thankfully the serving sizes were large, I'd love to go back, but I might need to take a second mortgage out on my house. ? Normally there's a line out the door but we went on a Thursday night at 8pm for some reason it was not very busy so we felt lucky to give it a try.

This was a write a review with pic and get a secret menu??? I'll be back to share how the food was for the extra stars.... BRB Welp, I'm back... You don't get a secret menu, you get a juice. (As seen in the picture) diabetes in a cup! Me, my husband and 14 year old could NOT take more than one sip. Side not- they need to fix that CHALLENGE sign. Not clear and spelling is wrong. Ok so, here it goes...and I'm sorry ahead of time.. I really don't understand the hype so this is my honest opinion. 1) I got the Cajun shrimp with clams. Noodles are soft and nice, light flavor but not much flavor. Shrimp had the shells on which is a plus plus plus for me! But I wouldn't get it again. (Kid: 6/10 Me: 6/10) 2) Got the fried chicken with the 6 bucks worth of sauces (2 of them) Chicken was juicy but zero flavor unless I'm forced to order sauces. (Kid: 7/10 husband: he said go to staterbros me: same) WE wouldn't get it again. 3) Kimchi rice. Eh (Kid: 3/10 husband 6/10 me: 4/10) Presentation was really nice 4) The loaded fries: how is there sooooo much stuff on it yet baby flavor? Flies were NOT soggy though which is always nice. Was really pretty looking (Kid: 4/10 Husband: 5/10 Me: 4/10) 5) the water taste like old refrigerator water haha don't ask me how I know. I know you know what I mean! Haha servers: they were really nice Atmosphere: music was good to me, loud enough to enjoy it and not having to talk loud. It's called a PUB pretty much, so if I was drinking and feeling good this would probably all taste way better. But unfortunately this place is WAAAAAAYYYYYY TOOOO EXPENSIVE with a lack of flavor. Not terrible, but bring it down a few bucks it will probably taste better hahah. I needed seasoning on everything but that's what we get for following a YouTuber haha You guys can get more bang for your buck somewhere else with more flavor.

This place is awesome!! If you're looking for spicy, you will find it here for sure. Prepare to break a sweat and bring another shirt. I always get the combo which is a great deal overall. Dont forget to get the pineapple juice since that will help ease the spice!! They always have a deal for drinks so it makes a great place to drink too.

I can't even express how good this was! Drove an hour to try this place out and it did not disappoint. We got the Luv Dduk combo with ramen and it came with fried chicken (chose the garlic soy sauce to go with it) and a side of Bulgolgi Garlic noodles. The fried chicken was so crispy, crunchy and flavorful (seasoned so well) and the Tteokbokki was a spicy sweet sauce mixed with all the ingredients. You can choose your spice level if you want more heat! My only complaint is I wish the egg wasn't so cooked and had more of a soft yolk. I definitely also recommend the Bulgogi Garlic Noodles, they're top tier! The portions are huge (serves 2-3 people) so make sure you share or anticipate bringing food home. They took our order at the door but did say it was ok to order more if we'd like to after we were seated. They are trying to move quickly and get people seated but it did not take away from their service. Just anticipate being patient as they're working as quickly as they can :) they helped us mix up the bowl and told us the best way to eat everything and they were constantly checking on us. I'll definitely be coming back to try more!

Their food is great. Our kids love their Jia jang ddukbpkgi. It's not spicy. And their portion is pretty good for the price. If you like spicy food, you should try this place.

5 stars and beyond !! This place had everything you wanted from a Korean comfort food spot Super busy but workers very attentive The rice cakes were soft, corn cheese came out with that cheese pull and the fried chicken was SO CRISPY Even As leftovers that's saying something

The meal lineup @luvdduk_cerritos : Chicken & Tteok Bokki Combo (Luv Dduk-rice cake, fish cake, sausages, cabbage & mozzarella cheese-level spice 1/boiled egg/whole fried chicken/house salad/1 drink) Bulgogi Cheese Fries Corn Cheese Kimchi Fried Rice Bulgogi Garlic Noodles Boneless garlic fried chicken There were a few people waiting outside when we got there, so I think they get quite a bit more foot traffic on the weekend. The process: Join the waitlist on the pad right outside of the door. I'm not sure if this is the way it works when it's busy, but they will call your name to place your order first before seating you. I actually find that efficient because when you sit down, food is already arriving at your table. My top out of what we ordered would be the whole fried chicken with soy garlic sauce (extra cost for sauce), boneless garlic fried chicken, Tteok Bokki - first time having it and the spice was just right along with flavor, and the kimchi fried rice Inside of the restaurant isn't huge but good space. It didn't take as long as I thought it would for a party of 10, like us. Food was flavorful, and the staff was helpful and tentative. I'll have to come back for the buy 1 get 1 free soju and beer!
