I actually came here a while ago around this past winter, but forgot to write a review. They took reservations, which is an accommodation that I appreciate. This place is a smaller space, but it had a cozy feel with a warm team of staff that greeted us, attended to us frequently enough (but not too much), & served great quality creative food. The owner even came out to ask us how we're doing & made us feel welcome and appreciated. I would definitely come back here again sometime!

Just as delicious as the last time we visited! The mushroom appetizer was a bit more creamy than I remember it, but still good just a bit too rich for my tastes. The service was a 10, our waiter was attentive without being intrusive, made a great wine recommendation, and so personable! We even forgot our leftovers like always and he ran them out to the car! There was one employee that just stood in back of the counter staring out into the restaurant which was kinda weird, but he seemed lost in thought not creepy! We will keep coming back for the delicious food and great service!!

After discovering Marche Moto through instagram recently, I have been here a few times already! Everything is so good and tasty. Their plating also looked like they put care into preparing the food. It's like fine dining with a chill vibe. Servers are very personable and welcoming, always. They don't have a huge menu but it's very descent- yellowtail crudo, salmon crudo, goat cheese mushroom fundido, pear & burrata salad, pork shoulder (off menu special)... have to say that everything I've ordered so far, including the house made sangria, has been good. Highly recommend!

What a dining experience! I went here for a private event for my friend's birthday, and the food was amazing from start to finish! This place is such a hidden gem. It's tucked away in the city of Cerritos! The service was great, and the staff were super friendly. Menu:Kagoshima Hamachi: Raw Yellowtail with Navel orange, tri-citrus ponzu, thai basil oil, lemon zest, and chive. My favorite fish has always been yellowtail, and this dish was so flavorful! It literally melts in your mouth.Farao Island Salmon Gravlax: Raw salmon with kumquat, morita goat cheese, caper mustard relish, lotus root chip, morita oil, lemon, and dill. Perfection!Grilled d'anjou pear and burrata with prosciutto: Arugula with lemon vinaigrette, balsamic vinegar reduction, and olive oil. Appetizers were goat cheese with brie which had a truffle oil taste with honey, mushrooms, and chive. Second appetizer was crispy pork belly that had a mango, lime, and cilantro flavor. It was so delicious! My favorite entrée of the night was the mushroom risotto with umami roast tomato. It consisted of rice, brown butter, parmigiano cheese, onion and garlic. It was so savory!I can't wait to come back and try all their other dishes. It's a cute place for a romantic date night or just a nice dinner with friends or family.

Wow I can't believe I'm writing this. After finding this restaurant on instagram i was excited to try it out. Tonight they had their Peruvian/Japanese one-night only 5 course set menu for $75/person, it was a complete fail. They really dropped the ball on this one and what a complete waste of $330 for a party of 3. Being Japanese and my girlfriend and her dad Peruvian we had high expectations for this one-time menu. We arrived when they opened at 5 and were sat right away and water was served. At this point, the set menu wasn't given out nor a drink menu. Do you guys only want us to drink water and not up sell?? Lol. Zero communication from the server. We eventually ordered the pairing that came with 4 drinks for $40(no comment on this one)Are they starting the set course, whats going on? I see chefs standing around and I'm paying attention to the clock... having formally worked 10+ years at a restaurant I can see and examine whats going on. There were 8 parties consisting of 21 people in the restaurant at this point and the place looks like it seats a max 45 people(?). Next thing i know, i see the food finally being input to their system and i hear the printer going off at the chef's station. LOL. This is a set course with the chefs in plain visible site. How are they not already working on the food. No other dishes are being served tonight except the set course. What the hell is going on. We get our first dish at 5:30. First dish: Tiradito(sashimi/carpaccio). I thought the dish was actually good but my gf and her father were so-so about it(being they have the better tongue for it being that it is a Peruvian dish). WARNING: they served it on two plates for 3 people. The server acted like it was no big deal. Did you guys run out of plates or conserving?? This really irritated me. I understand you guys are a Tapas restaurant and you serve big portions and give out side plates. This one-off menu was advertised as a 5 course meal. Each person should have their own dish for every course. Zero excuses. Complete nonsense. The first plate looked like a standard portion while the 2nd plate had about 1.25-1.5 the portion instead of being twice the amount. We really got ripped off on every shared dish and im upset.2nd Dish: arugula salad, this dish seemed like a filler and felt ripped off again. At this point im thinking its a 4 course menu instead of 5. Again why are the two dishes being brought out for 3 people and the 2nd plate BARELY being a bigger portion than the first. Im thinking alright alright next is the "deconstructed" lomo saltado, theres NO way they're bringing out 2 dishes this time when we are paying $75 each for 3 people. Yup you guessed it. 2 plates, one barely more than the other for 3 people to share. Every time a dish was dropped off, NOT A SINGLE EXPLANATION. Not even the name of the dish!!! He did the same thing for the drink pairing!! This "lomo saltado" was a disgrace. Enough said. 4th dish: striped bass sudado and/or pork duroc. Both dishes were good and finally, FINALLY we all get our own plate. Healthy portion. I tried some of the fish, it was good. The pork dish was excellent. Towards the end of the dish, we find out one of the fish dish wasnt fully cooked and we sent it back. Didnt want to hassle them. Also my pork dish was 8 min late. My girl and her dad had their fish sitting in front of them while I'm waiting for my pork dish. The same exact scenario happened to the table next to us. The kid and mother had their fish and the dad was also waiting for the pork dish. 5th dish: okinawan purple potato empanada. Excellent but the damage was already done. Attached is photo of the "lomo saltado". Does one dish look twice the size as the other?? We ended up going to El Pollo Inka in Gardena right after because we were still hungry. Complete waste of time and money. Never coming back here or any other place in Cerritos.

SUPERB!!!!! From service to food to ambiance - I can't wait to come back and try the other dishes. We started with the yellowtail crudo and the roasted beet salad and both were exceptionally delish. Aaaaahhhhhh - everything was great! Go! Just go!

What an amazing gem Marche Moto is. This place elevates the dining experience in Cerritos. If you haven't given it a try, you're missing out. First off, I want to compliment on the service - how attentive the staff are, the ability to acknowledge the small details - it's a wonderful trait that a diner like myself will appreciate. I have to say, everything that we ordered was absolutely delicious. For Starters: Roasted golden beets salad and the pear, burrata & prosciutto were lightly sweet and savoy, not to mention, so fresh.Yellowtail crudo and Bluefin crudo: so much flavor, citrus-y and mouth watering. The bluefin was butter-y; melting in your mouth.Vegetarian friend had the butternut squash risotto - and enjoyed it (on the sweeter side).I had the Thai seafood risotto - hint of spice to make it a green curry flavor. Loved it. Meat-lover friend had the grilled prime ribeye - it was a little rear for my liking, but perfect for her. The dipping sauces complemented the ribeye nicely.Mr. Moto himself came by our table to greet us. He's a wonderful man and we are so happy we got to try his inspired dishes. I look forward to sharing this place with my husband soon.

~4.5/5~ what a hidden gem of a place in Cerritos! This Japanese inspired European tapas place is not to be missed. They have a unique selection of items that offer big flavors. Everything we had was delightful particularly the short ribs and risotto! Service was very good. The restaurant is small but clean! It's a little hidden in a small plaza so be on the lookout. Overall, would definitely recommend coming here for a unique twist on tapas!

Food Review: To start off, the drink I got tasted like a holiday in a cup and it was sooo good, I'm sad I can't remember the name of it, but it had a nice smokey/spiced flavor! For appetizers we got the Goat Cheese Mushroom Fundido, which for me personally was an 8/10, because I love mushrooms but if you like goat cheese this would easily be a 10/10 app, and the House Creamy Hummus was one of the best hummuses I've tried at a restaurant, 9/10!! For the entree, I got the Thai Seafood Risotto and it was heaven in my mouth!! Best thing ever!! The scallops and shrimp were cooked to literal perfection, I was melting in my seat!! 10/10 recommend!!Service Review: Service was phenomenal. Our waiter was so patient and explained the menu well. The food came out fairly quickly and you can tell everything was freshly made! Kudos to the Chef!! The ambience is very much elevated casual and it's perfect for date night or birthday dinner, and they were super accommodating for big parties (make sure you call ahead of time though).

Food was a little hit or miss. The yellowtail crudo and the prosciutto with potato were good. I could have almost ordered that prosciutto and potato dish twice. The rib eye was a big miss to me. The meat was cooked well as we ordered medium rare but it wasn't remarkable. The umami salt was ok, yuzu or ponzu sauce was second best, but the wasabi was a bit off having with the steak. We finalized it with the Thai risotto. It was interesting take with a lemongrass highlight. It was just ok to my wife and I. Ordered a small bottle of sake and the choice of sake cup was a nice touch.

I felt it was overpriced for the amount of food and the quality. Honestly I was not wowed by the food and the flavors. The chicken & the crème brûlée were the favorite. Even the sushi did not taste superb.

Marché Moto is one of the newer, hidden gems in the area. Situated by the mall and right next to a cajun seafood spot, this Euro-Japanese tapas bar looks unassuming and a bit out of place considering the high quality and thoughtfulness of their menu offering - something that could match those of other upscale restaurants. The ambiance of the place and the exciting gourmet offerings is why this would make for a perfect date night spot. The place is very small though and have limited seating so make sure to place a reservation. As for food, there were a lot that impressed us. My favorites would have to be the Burrata toast which is an excellent appetizer, the Thai Seafood risotto with its perfect amount of spice and creaminess, and the Peach Cobbler with vanilla ice cream was like comforting hug. I think they switched the peach to apple depending on the season though. I like how they switch up the menu and ingredients because it says a lot about their commitment to improve the food and the customer's experience. The spiced mango pork belly was a crowd pleaser because of the tender meat and that sweet and sour sauce. The yellow tail crudo was very fresh. The rib eye was pretty good and i love that it came with wasabi. The braised beef shortrib was so tender and had good flavor however the meal was very heavy and we felt it was lacking some acidic component. The sangria was a little too sweet for our taste and could use a bit more alcohol. Overall, i love that we have a restaurant with creative and breathing menu offerings. It makes me excited to keep coming back to check what else they have to offer. I wish the service would be a bit more friendly though as that would really complete the experience.

Food is good, service was subpar. Big portions. This deserves a story. This review is more of a reflection of the service than the food. My girlfriend and I came for dinner for my birthday. The waiter told us everything was served tapas style. Tapas are small portions fyi. Shouldn't be hard. So we order about 6 dishes. Before the waiter puts in our order, we ask him very clearly, "did we order too much food for two people?" He gives us a non answer by saying "oh everyone is different, depends how hungry you are." He basically gave a non answer. The first two dishes came out and the portions were way bigger than expected. We instantly knew that we wouldn't be able to eat everything. We told our waiter we wished he assisted in editing our order. His co-worker then came to our table later and said, "We are doing it right and you are going to enjoy your leftovers. The food is better the next day." I'm sorry, no one comes to a dine-in restaurant with the intent of ordering food to eat it the next day. It seemed to me our waiter let us order a lot of food so he gets a bigger tip imo, which we did not appreciate. We could only handle a bite of our last two meals because we were so full. It was to the point we couldn't enjoy the meal anymore because of how full we were. Our leftovers were enough for another two meals.

My first experience with Tapa style eating is in Spain. Marche Moto style is up a notch or two. My family and I were celebrating my 65th birthday and everyone had a great time. I recommend this place to all my friends and family

This restaurant has such an interesting combination of ingredients! Written as "European tapas with a Japanese influence" on their website, I was very pleased with the flavors provided. We ordered the yellowtail crudo, goat cheese mushroom fundido with added brie, grilled prime ribeye, and Thai seafood risotto. The yellowtail crudo had a goma/Tahiti like sauce, cilantro, and an apple. It was such a fun dish, but the yellowtail itself was a bit bland. The fundido is a base of goat cheese normally, and was very cheesy with the added brie. The dish was like eating mouthfuls of a warm charcuterie board, all encapsulated into spoonfuls of mushrooms. The mushrooms also had a maillarded FIRE flavor, which complemented the soft, sweet figs perfectly. I was the most excited to try the ribeye, but it was also the most disappointing dish. Some parts were slightly overcooked to medium and tough. Some of the crust was overdone and tasted straight up burnt. The meat seemed a bit leaner than what I would expect from this cut. Overall, it was okay, it just wasn't what I would expect from a $55 steak. You can get a phenomenal steak at stubricks for $10 less. One thing to note is they make the umami salt in house! The risotto was definitely something new and exciting for me :) Scallops and shrimp were cooked perfectly, and I was very intrigued by the Thai basil oil. The side of lime complemented the dish perfectly! I loved how you could taste the Thai flavors in each bite. The risotto texture was plump and tasted solid, it seemed like brown rice? I'm used to a bit more texture in my risotto since I commonly see wild rice used, but I would definitely order the risotto again. The decor focuses on a minimal warehouse look and is very elegant with the huge, spotless glass doors and walls. I think if they could find a bigger location, or even a standalone store, it could contribute to the classy vibe. It kinda looks like a pho shop despite its nice decoration, due to the location, small size, and the fact it's in a strip mall. The service was amazing! George helped us out and was so friendly and easy to talk to. Definitely knew his s**** he was able to answer all my questions about what this ingredient was and what that was, etc. All in all, good experience and definitely a spot to check out. I really wanted to love this place, but ultimately, I don't think I will return on my own, unless a friend wanted to go. I mostly enjoyed the novelty of weird combination of flavors, but for the dishes as a whole, nothing really stood out.
