Had an awesome experience at North Italia! My server, Brooke, was amazing from start to finish. She gave great recommendations, checked in at the perfect times, and really took care of us. The service was truly spectacular and the food was delicious. Brooke made the whole night even better, definitely hope to have her again next time. Highly recommend!

First time at this restaurant, and honestly, I did not have high expectations for these reasons: it occupies what used to be California Pizza Kitchen (I consider a casual restaurant) and it's literally in the mall.
I guess Cerritos Center is revamping most of its business image by offering finer dining options.
We snagged a reservation for 3 adults plus a toddler through Open Table. There was no wait, so highly recommend reservations.
Spacious, multiple tables, bar and counter seating plus an outdoor patio area.
Food is described as seasonal, so the menu offering today will be definitely changing to a fall palate in a few days.
Split a seasonal vegetable salad (described as full of delicious bits of chopped pistachio, the usual greens, plus chopped snap peas, grilled asparagus ( I honestly did not find it in the dish served to me) , avocado, broccolini, sweet corn, heirloom tomato, fregola, goat cheese, pistachio, avocado vinaigrette. **8/10
Caesar salad had little gem lettuces, huge croutons, grated cheese on top and cracked pepper - the waiter offered a half-order for one of us - **8/10
Grilled Bread & Good Olive Oil is a side dish, not refillable like other Italian themed spots **9/10.
Pasta dishes we got:
Strozzapreti - herb-roasted chicken, roasted mushroom, spinach, parmesan cream, toasted pine nut, with noodles that resembled double thin tubes - **9/10
Squid Ink Tonnarelli - squid ink noodles, tiger shrimp, calamari, wild fennel pollen, mint in a spicy tomato sauce - **9/10
Kids menu - Grilled Chicken with alfredo noodles- this pasta was a bit too big (rigatoni style) and a bit too al dente for the little one to handle. Flavor wise was fine.
For future, will ask for spaghetti noodles instead of the rigatoni - **7/10
To share : Sweet Corn & Fontina Polenta - delicious, creamy but also going away after this summer.
Pork Milanese - breaded pork, topped with the most prosciutto ever, arugula, red onions (No pasta on this dish).
There are numerous Cocktails, wines, and non-alcoholic drinks.
I had the Sicilian Margarita - bright & citrusy : El mayor reposado, Grand Marnier, Montenegro, slice of dried citrus *9/10
Ristretto - lot of bitter notes and coffee: bottega bacûr gin, caffè borghetti, campari, carpano antica, black walnut - *8/10
White wine recommended by waiter : Bollino Cahrdonnay.
They do give a taste of the wine if you are undecided.
Our waiter Doug was the CONSUMMATE best ever - attentive, friendly, timed our food delivery well (we always seem to get too much food).
He also comped a dessert for the birthday celebrant (pumpkin butter cake with marshmallow topping). *5/10 (cake was dense and dry)
Shared as the last dish : panna cotta with strawberries, basil adn drizle of balsamic vinegar.
Clean bathrooms with fully enclosed stalls (top to bottom) in the Women's side plus a changing table thankfully.

The food was not good; the service and atmosphere were fine, for dinner, we both ordered different pasta dishes, and the portions were inconsistent. My pasta's texture was not good; The noodles texture seemed undercooked. The food was very underwhelming.

Had a very awful experience here. The waitress was very disrespectful to me and embarrassed me in front of the rest of our table. She did not apologize. I will never recommend this place.

We just had the BEST service we have had in a LONG time! Ever since Covid, customer service has been crap. My husband and I used to eat out quite a bit before but stopped because we were just tired of spending money to be treated like peasants. But Dani, our server was AMAZING and gave us hope again for eating out!
She not only was friendly but made great recommendations and was extremely attentive! We loved her and will be back on Sundays because of her!

I'm happy that North Italia has opened a location in Cerritos. I've been to several locations further away; all were good experiences. My family has dined here a few times already, and each time has been pleasant. Service has been friendly and attentive. I recommend setting up a reservation during peak dining times.

For the food, we usually start with the White Truffle Garlic Bread, which was very good; I could have had an order all to myself. We've also shared The Pig pizza, Hot Honey & Smoked Prosciutto, Fungi, and Margarita pizzas. The flavors and ingredients are good with a crisp and chewy crust. For my main entrée, I've had the Tortelloni al Pomodoro, which was flavorful and cheesy, with a fresh tomato sauce. The basil leaves added a nice earthy flavor as well. The Squid Ink Tonnarelli had a spicy kick to it, and the House Bolognese is another favorite. All their pasta dishes are well-made.

For dessert, we enjoyed the Tiramisu, Hazelnut Torta, and Bombolini (Italian Donuts). We also ordered some coffee and chai. The macchiato I ordered hit the spot and ended the meal nicely.

Along with the fantastic food, the drink menu features some satisfying house cocktails, a comprehensive wine selection where you can sample a few before committing to a full glass, and a variety of mocktails.

I must acknowledge our excellent server, Uchenna, on our first visit. She had served us before and recognized us from a previous visit at the Irvine location. She was pleasant, attentive, and energetic, which improved our experience. Other servers we've had were excellent.

The atmosphere is bright and modern during the daytime, and cozy and mellow during the evening. The dining areas, both inside and outside, are spacious. The bar area is also a relaxing spot to enjoy a meal or drink. The prices are on the premium side, so it's a great place for celebrating an occasion or treating yourself.

I'm looking forward to dining here again.

We will definitely come back. They were very professional and friendly. We liked the atmosphere. The music is not too loud. Nice restaurant. I liked the dim lights with the candles. We ordered meatballs and pizza. It was delicious. The cheese had a pull to it.

Very nice atmosphere, not rushed, not too loud. I had a salad which was good for the most part, but it was spring mix, and a tiny bit wilted. Others got more traditional meals and those looked great, with large portions. The drinks are delicious and coffee is excellent. Overall our 8 person party had a great time, and our server was so nice and thorough!

I love coming here to eat. Normally im here with my 1 year old and they are always so friendly. I tend to order for delivery and they are always really good at looking at the notes. My sons loves their pesto pasta that comes with the salmon dish. We like the Strozzapreti, Roasted Salmon, Farmers Market Board, Glazed Chioggia Beets and Sweet Corn & Fontina Polenta.
