My wife and I just had breakfast here (less than an hour ago). I seriously do not know how this spot have top reviews.

I ordered In House Skillet and my wife had Egg Scrambled Omelette with Hash Brown. We both had coffee... Biscuits and Gravy.

Our service was top notch. Our waitress was friendly and pleasant. No negative reviews on her at ALL.

Biscuit and Gravy...wth? There were no flavors or bland seasoning. I had to put some black peppers for my mouth to actually eat this.

I just think the food quality could have been better. Maybe a lot of people come here...cause there are not too many breakfast places.

This is a great local spot that's very popular and for good reason. The food is great the service is good and the whole experience makes you want to come back. I suggest getting there early since they do not take reservations and there tends to be a line.
Highly recommend.

Love that this is a family run business that we can support. Food is good. Service can be spotty...stellar one day and lackluster the next.

Melecio's scrambled eggs reminded me of something my mother would've cooked for me!

Carne asada with scrambled eggs, tomatoes, chile, cilantro, melted cheese and topped with queso fresco.

Service was great
Portions were large
Ambiance was nice
Place was packed but I found quick & Available seating in the bar.

I just worked through a list of every diner and coffee shop in LA County and somehow missed this spot. It was recommended to me by another foodie and wow they were right. This place is one of the best breakfast restaurants in South Los Angeles and I would highly recommend it and already want to go back again. Mainly for the food taste and quality. The service and pricing was also great but what gets me to repeat a restaurant as if the food taste is so good that I think about it after I eat it.

It’s located in a business park area and comes with free parking in the front and back. We were able to be seated right when we arrived at 10AM on Saturday in a party of two. Our server was extremely polite, and everything that we ordered came out lightning fast. Inside is larger than it looks from the outside and has many different types of seating options. The restaurant was fully occupied when we were there so you can tell that it’s really popular with the locals, and after eating it, I can understand why.

I started off the meal with a Cinnamon Roll because it’s one of my favorite things and I had heard that this place has one of the better versions. I will say that it is one of the best Cinnamon Rolls that I’ve had in 2025 and would highly recommend it to any fan. For breakfast, I chose the Eggs Benedict and switched it to chorizo and added avocado which I would suggest trying. The chorizo was perfectly spicy and the hollandaise had great flavor to it. Overall, I was really impressed with the meal and I already want to come back again even though I live in Marina del Rey I drove out of my way specifically for this place and would do it again.

If you're looking for a breakfast spot that truly excels in both quality and service, look no further than Off Street cafe. I recently had the pleasure of dining here and was completely blown away by the experience, from the moment I walked in until the last bite of my meal.
I opted for the California Omelette, and it was perfection. The eggs were fluffy and perfectly cooked, generously filled with fresh, vibrant ingredients—avocado, cheese, and tomatoes that tasted like they were just picked. It was light, savory, and exactly what a breakfast specialty should be.
However, the real showstopper on the plate was the side of Home Fries. Often, home fries are an afterthought—greasy or under-seasoned. Not here! These were crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and seasoned flawlessly with a blend of herbs and spices that made them utterly addictive. They are easily some of the best I have ever had at any breakfast establishment.
Beyond the food, the service was genuinely excellent. Our server was incredibly friendly, making us feel welcome and valued. Despite the cafe being quite busy, the service was fast and attentive. Our coffee cups never went empty, and our food arrived quickly and piping hot.
Off Street cafe proves that great service and outstanding food can go hand-in-hand. Whether you're craving a fantastic omelette or just the perfect side of crispy potatoes, this spot deserves your business. I highly recommend it and will absolutely be returning soon!

We had to wait about 5 minutes after placing our names on a Saturday morning.
The service was prompt and attentive. I asked the server for some suggestions because it was our first time.
I had a California wet burrito. It was large but only came with one ramiken of salsa. I asked for more. My wife got a veggie omelet with a big portion of hash browns and toast.
Not much you can do to kill breakfast. The food came out very quick. The portions were large.
The atmosphere on the patio was a bit loud to carry on an intimate conversation.
Would we go back? Yes
