First time customer and I went with the recommended butter pistachio and creme brûlée. Also got a peanut butter which was my favorite. I didn't care for the creme brûlée. Wouldn't get that again. Service was good. I don't mind paying $5 for a fancy donut but don't appreciate the tip request. Min wage in CA is $16. That's pretty good for serving donuts. Just saying.

The donut prices at Old Ferry Donut are astronomically high. The ONLY reason I paid almost five dollars for a doughnut, is because my wife loves their coconut cream. I'd rather go without for myself, than to pay that kind of money for a doughnut, no matter how good it is.

Donuts are okay, I had high expectations going in I had their cream and raspberry ball. Both okay, the banana milk is incredible! I would go back just for that. The staff is wonderful, and the store is very well decorated.

Last time I was in the neighborhood I was a little early so the shop was not open yet. Today I was here later in the afternoon. This donut shop is great. There are a wide variety of donuts ,something for everyone. The establishment was very nice and clean. The employee that assisted me was so friendly and helpful. I will definitely be coming back.

First time trying these donuts. Cream brulee was good, cookies and cream was ok, glaze was good but really sweet, Boston cream pie was pretty good. Also had the Real Iced Chocolate, didn't taste like chocolate at all. And didn't come with a toasted marshmallow like advertised. Bf also got the vanilla milk and said it was good. Like regular milk with a hint of vanilla. Overall it's decent, but wouldn't go out of our way to get them.

Good selection, great tasting donuts and fast service! They come in a beautiful package. My faves? Chocolate of course!

Absolutely fantastic! The interior makes me think of some sort of vintage shop. It was my first time here so I decided to pick the four most popular. The donuts are so GOOD, and the customer service was phenomenal too. Will definitely come again. :)

I've been wanting to try Old Ferry Donut for awhile since I kept hearing good things about them. They have a location in the Source in Buena Park as well, but I happened to be in the area for their Chino location. Everything from the interior is sooo cute!! They also had some pop sockets and reusable bags for sale too, but I came there for the donuts. I ordered a half dozen along with some banana milk because of the cute pouch. Out of the donuts I'd say the peanut butter one and their creme brulee one was my favorite. I wasn't a big fan of their tiramisu donut mainly b3cause the filling was cream and I was expecting maybe Nutella or some chocolate filling to go with it. Its more on the speciality side of donuts like sidecar donuts. Pretty cool to check out. Hear me out though... A peanut butter and jelly donut would be so bomb. It could have the peanut butter filling and outside as well as raspberry jelly inside. That would be utter perfection.

A Sweet Odyssey at Old Ferry Donuts: Donut Review Extravaganza! Ah, Old Ferry Donuts, where dreams are made of sugar and glaze. Recently, I embarked on a delightful donut adventure, sampling six of their finest creations: crème brûlée, chocolate, peanut butter, lemon poppyseed, coconut cream, and tiramisu. Buckle up, sugar fiends, because this review is about to get delicious! The Crème de la Crème: The crème brûlée donut was a revelation. The light, fluffy donut held a creamy, custard-like filling, and the crackle of the torched sugar topping was pure magic. Each bite was a symphony of textures and flavors, a true masterpiece. 10/10, would recommend for any self-respecting donut enthusiast. Chocolate Classic: The chocolate donut was a comforting classic. The rich, dark chocolate glaze was smooth and decadent, perfectly complementing the soft dough. It wasn't overly sweet, which I appreciated. A reliable crowd-pleaser, this donut gets a solid 8/10. Peanut Butter Paradise: The peanut butter donut was a delightful surprise. The peanut butter filling was creamy and, with a hint of saltiness that balanced the sweetness beautifully. The glazed top added a nice touch, making it a truly satisfying treat. 9/10, because you can never go wrong with peanut butter! Lemon Poppyseed Zest: The lemon poppyseed donut was a refreshing burst of sunshine. The tangy lemon glaze was perfectly balanced by the subtle poppyseed crunch, creating a light and flavorful experience. It was a welcome break from the richer flavors, earning a well-deserved 8/10. Coconut Cream Dream: The coconut cream donut was a tropical vacation in a pastry. The toasted coconut flakes added a satisfying textural contrast to the smooth, creamy filling. The sweetness was just right, making it a delightful indulgence. 8/10, for transporting me to beachy bliss. Tiramisu Temptation: The tiramisu donut was an ambitious and unique creation. The coffee-infused glaze was rich and flavorful, and the mascarpone filling was surprisingly light and airy. The ladyfingers crumbled nicely, adding a textural element. While not a traditional tiramisu experience, it was a fun and interesting donut, earning a 7/10 for creativity. Overall Verdict: Old Ferry Donuts lived up to the hype! The variety of flavors was impressive, the quality of ingredients was top-notch, and the execution was spot-on. Whether you're a classic chocolate lover or a adventurous donut explorer, there's something for everyone here. With friendly service and a charming atmosphere, this place is a must-visit for any donut aficionado. I rate it a well-deserved 9/10 and can't wait to return for more sugary adventures! P.S. If you're feeling indecisive, don't hesitate to ask for recommendations. The staff is knowledgeable and passionate about their donuts, and they'll help you find the perfect match for your taste buds. Happy donutting

First off, I've been to The Source in Buena Park a handful of times and never knew there was one if these there. lol This place is cute, trendy, has branded merch for sale and the worker that helped me was very friendly and informative. She explained they specialize in Korean donuts and make their own milks too. The donuts are unique and about $4-$5 each. We opted for a box of 4 and got their top rated which the worker said-Butter pistachio. In addition to raspberry glazed, crème brûlée and coconut filled. The butter pistachio isn't a flavor we would have picked and it wasn't very pistachio strong. The buttercream was perfect though. Not super sweet but creamy and sweet. My fiancés favorite was the raspy. He said it tasted fresh. The coconut cream was my favorite cause I love coconut and again, the cream filling was just perfect. Not super sweet. Actually not really sweet at all but creamy coconut flavored. Our least favorite was the crème brûlée which shocked me cause I love crème brûlée. It just wasn't really flavorful or had enough brûlée for me. Haha

Stopped by and got the following: Boston cream: great custard filling. Fluffy, great texture Early grey: It was very light in my opinion. The texture of the cakey donut was good though. Crème brûlée: had the crème brûlée vibes all there. Service/vibe: very good, very friendly and kind. And the vibe of the donut shop overall was cool, simple, but also cute cause of the little cartoon character haha

Average donuts. Wasn't worth all of the hype that I saw from their Ktown location from foodie pages on Instagram. The best one was the pistachio cream. All the other ones were just ok. Since I live far away from of their locations, would not go out of my way for a second try. Cool line up of donuts and I wanted to try the creme brûlée but were sold out. Reasonably priced compared to other specialty shops, so at least it wasn't expensive or a complete waste.

Great staff, they prepared my donut quickly and delivered it kindly! I tried the raspberry glaze donut and I think it's a great option if you're looking for something "lighter" and less sweet than some of their more filling donuts. Great dough texture and perfect balance of sweet/tart on the raspberry frosting!
