The food here is always good but today the attitude we got from the Asian guy with the tattoos was just ridiculous. I understand it was really busy and they were understaffed but it was one of the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Our waiter was really nice but yeah for some reason that guy was just such a douche to put it nicely. Definitely not coming back here.

Idk how long this location has been opened, but I just found out, while searching for uni pasta closer to me, that my favorite uni pasta has a 2nd location!!! ? Now I don't gotta drive all the way to Little Tokyo for it. This location is only about 20min (with no traffic ?) from me in the OC!!! Their uni pasta is the best & so is this other dish that my hubby ordered (forgot the name, but it's a bolognese beef stew kind of sauce...it was one of their special item). Also tried a couple of the other appetizers. Pretty good too. Fyi, we've only been their LT location so far. Can't wait to try this one out soon!

Japanese style pasta dishes are not to be disregarded - always a treat! Complement it with great service and homey ambience - truly a comfort food experience!

So so glad I got around to trying this place out, the pastas are SO GOOD!! We tried the mentaiko and the squid ink pasta - the flavor profile for both was perfect and the noodles were cooked al dente! The portion size was just right too. Will definitely be back to try more of the menu

I was so excited to know that Pasta e Pasta is now at Cerritos. Small place compare to J-town so the wait was a little bit long. It felt a little crowded inside. We got seated at the bar which was not really my choice but I wanted you to have the Uni pasta already. And YES for UNI!!! I dont even eat uni but I love this pasta. I will come back again but maybe on a weekday and sit on a table.

GREAT PASTA. My husband and I ordered uni pasta and peperoncino squid&mushroom pasta - they were both amazing. The noodles are perfectly cooked (al dente) and the sauce is not too salty not too blend. I would definitely go back to try other pastas.Just make sure you arrive early! around 5ish so that you dont have to wait too long ??

As a fan of their original location in Little Tokyo, I was excited that they opened a second location in Cerritos. Luckily I read reviews beforehand and knew the place gets busy with long wait times, so my group arrived by 6pm on a Friday night. We got seated with no wait, but a line started forming just 5 minutes afterwards. To start, they brought out complimentary salad and bread for the table right after we ordered. The salad is simple and refreshing. The bread was a bit difficult to cut into, so it's easier to rip apart. We did order the Creamy Crab Meat Gratin ($10.80), which went perfectly with the bread. This appetizer is small but heavy, so good for sharing. There's pieces of penne pasta mixed in the creamy sauce as well, which was unexpected. I'm not sure this one was worth getting, but nice to try. For the pastas, we ordered the Uni Pasta ($25), Carbonara ($18), and Japanese Style Mentai Cream Sauce ($18). The mentai cream pasta is forever my favorite with a light creamy seafood flavor. The uni one is almost similar to the mentai, but with a focus on uni. This dish is much pricier all because you get a whole uni on top. I can see why this is a crowd favorite too. While the carbonara was also delicious, it was the heaviest dish with all the cheese and cream. This one can get overpowering, so I'm glad we shared everything. I love a Japanese and Italian fusion cuisine, so this hits the spot. I do wish they had a little more variety outside of only pasta though. Either way, love their unique pasta flavors here.

We stepped in around noon to be immediately provided a space for us to sit - what a blessing! What seemed like a small store turned out to be a charming and beautiful restaurant. Wonderful for celebratory, nice, well-priced meals. I thank you all for your kind service as well!

Do you like Asian fusion food? Are you a pasta fan? Look no further and come visit Kunzo at Pasta e Pasta! We visit at least once every other week. My hubby and I are creatures of habit so we always get the same dishes, Uni pasta for me and Seafood pasta with red sauce for him. They are very consistent and good always come out piping hot! Kunzo and his team are pros! They don't mess around. Service is always top notch! If you like a lively dining experience, look no further and try pasta e pasta! Enjoy!

I finally found a good pasta place in the neighborhood.. Place was quite small but has a very cool vibe. My first time to try uni pasta and it exceeded my expectations. Their squid ink pasta was good and would definitely come back to try other pasta in their menu.

This is the fifth time to give a chance to try again. We will never try again... It's terrible yesterday. The noodles didn't cook right. The guy attitude so rude, he don't know how to talk to customers. No more eat there again.

We went here for a birthday celebration. Came early, Put our name down and waited about 15 minutes to be seated. Restaurant is small and cozy. Servers are nice and attentive. We ordered Uni Pasta, Mentai and Squid ink, salad and their burrata. Very happy with the food and service. The pastas were all cooked al dente and were flavorful. Our favorite was the Mentai. The uni pasta, we thought lacked some more uni. Burrata was good. Would like to come back and taste the other dishes on the menu but we were all satisfied and happy with the meal.

Omfg SO good. Reminds me of the Japanese restaurant on the bridge in Japantown in SF. You know it's good when you see Japanese people lining up outside. Salad is so cool and refreshing and fresh and the rolls are so perfectly baked - crisp on the outside and chewy and yeasty on the inside. Pasta perfectly al dente and so flavorful. They even made a custom veggie pasta for my vegetarian fiance. Staff is sooo nice. I've been twice and quality was so good both times. Took it to go this time. Highly recommend not just the mentaiko pasta but also the traditional Japanese bacon and mushroom. And shop itself is so intimate and cute. Always come here on the way down from LAX!

Literally perfection. I've tried several mentaiko and uni pastas--this place is hands down, the best I've ever had! If you're a fan of Japanese-Italian fusion pasta, don't hesitate to try it out! You can add extra seafood mix ($7) and shrimp ($4). The pasta, sauce, seafood--everything was cooked beautifully. Not over salty, flavors all shine through... we can't wait to try their other dishes! And! The service was so lovely as well. So kind, checked on us several times, brought us extra plates without being asked (we wanted to share), and smiles all around. Thank you!

I love pasta. It is probably my overall favorite dish because it has so many variations. I've had a few different dishes here and they have all been good, but my comfort order will have to be the uni pasta. It is something I would recommend to anybody that likes seafood.
